hapy birthday afn. i am so glad to have found this site! i have learned so much hear in ashort time thanks to all! hey jm and wiz i read somewhere that h2o2 is not a good choice for O2 because it kills benfical microbes? but what the hell do i know.
 
I agree, this most definitely the case with the peroxide and monochloroamines. Especially with regards to the PBS and mycorr, these micro-organisms cannot tolerate H2O2 even at neglible conc. <2%.. The Trichoderma harzianum are less susceptible to chemical induced cell-lysis and will tolerate in-frequent applications of peroxide not exceeding 5% - Interestingly commercial-biotechnological combinations of Trichodermia such as '3Tac' have been useful for treatment of Botrytis, Fusarium and Penicillium in infected floral mass... http://www.avancebiotechnologies.com/3tace.html

Various evolutionary genetic factors with Trichodermia, such as parasexual recombination, mutation and other cellular processes have reduced their cell-lysis susceptibilty.
