Also right now running hydrofarm coco and I flush like a 2liter of ph7 water through it then ph a liter of water to 6.1 add cal_mag till it gets to 200ppm and let stand a day before planting. That's wat I try to do, now to get in some of the other battles I did not flush or any of that and my hubbasquach in the 2gal square fabric pot is just under 46in lol I can't go much higher that plu the 9in pot height I've got a hair over 6ft height so when I see that next to stuff like I was saying it makes u wonder but either way it's why I like autos they have not been only bread to be high thc they aren't far enough in breeding to be like white widow for example almost all breeders have one but most are just ok with a hand full being something u don't forget autos aren't there yet but very close talking repeatable pheno types ECT I can't wait to see wat happens this year
I did the same thing with my general hydroponics and botonicare bricks of coco. I'd exspand them ph 6.0 water with calmag ppm of 200 and then put it in the pots and flush them a few times with the same 200ppm water until the runoff was steady and then I'd plant in them. But even still I had some calmag issues with certain strains. Till I found the canna bricks that are already pre-buffered like the bags I used to use. And I've upped my perilite ratio to 50/50. I have to water more often but I get alot faster growth early on with it. Also the b-52 And voodoo juice really helps them get a great start. For me I find that the first 2-3 weeks of a autos life is the most crucial time. Some autos that flower at 4 weeks are better bc you have more time to get a solid structure and overall healthier plant before flower. That's why I have way bigger yields with autoseeds strains. They have a little bit longer veg cycle and it make a huge diffrence but mephisto strains are very consistant and grow fast so thats a plus as well but alot less room for error is all. And very rarely do my grows go exactly as planned. Lol

Ya bc I keep trying different things cal_mag is always my problem I don't have problem with it till 4 or 5wk of flower I've used up to 6ml a gal with botanicares version but that seems high to me but now that I stopped changing lights ect I think I will be able to dial it in better and the other thing is I just started making feed charts I'm going to try bc the bottle strength is to much but half strength is not enuff I also am getting into more organic style with minimal synthetic nutes but even with soil my cal mag is an issue. Anyone try the flowering cal mag supplement on eBay I forget who makes it I will find out was going to try that out soon but it has zero nitrogen so we will see. I'm going to try some other things on the calmag coco thing. I will have to try it he brand u mentioned though for sure were is best place to get it

Amazon is where I get all my shit. Or agway store. I always have more calmag issues early in veg usually the seedling stage bc they can't handle to high of a ppm so it's hard to get enough to them early on. And I used botonicare calmag plus for years and just recently switched to advanced nutrients sensi calmag extra and I like advanced nutrients one better so far. And the coco blend nutrients are designed to use the calmag and potassium holding propertys coco has and turn it into a benifit. And as far as nutrient strengh i always start a 1/4 and work up from there. I just turn the recommended dose per liter into gallon it makes it easier. When i first started growing in coco i used advanced nutrients sensi ph perfect coco blend grow and bloom and used bagged canna coco and never had to add extra calmag or anything. Just the base nutrients. But the bags are to much money for me anymore with rhe size of my grow but now they have it in brick form for half rhe price so im using that next.

Thanks for that info like I said I generally don't have any real issues till 4th wk of flower I will have to try out advanced as I have but last year I found out that bud factorX has pesticides as well as another look it up on Google which is one reason I stopped using there and green planet nutes bc I want nice clean product and was worried about the rest of the lines. I think green planet was there finisher. Anyway I'm going to try this out too https://www.ebay.com/itm/Grow-More-...196519?hash=item41fe87f267:g:LEkAAOSw9m9cjEQH

I sold my old viparspectra with three separate channels and instantly regretted it, this was after I got some QB elites. Sold it for what I paid as I got it at a bargain price. So I just happen to have a scan on eBay and no one was bidding on this HP750 so I bid 180 and got it for 150, delivered. It's worth 380. I was going to sell it because I didn't really want that particular one but I switched it on to discover that they've changed the spectrum to something I like. OK so I just adjusted to that, then a couple of days ago I discovered that I won the Mars Hydro TS-2000, which I'd never have bought. So suddenly I have the Mars and the Vipar, so it looks like I don't have much choice here. The Mars looks pretty good, probably do the same as two QB96's running at 320W. This has all worked out well because I've just decided to change over from growing monster plants to trying to grow lots of different boutique bonsai type plants.

I get diffrent growth with diffrent lights. I have green and white cobs and panels that work great for veg and then my bigger lights with more power and higher parcel with more blues and reds for flower. But I also have alot of lights from trying to find the ones that work best. My bloombeast 900w is by far the best then my hipergeros then my Roleadro. The bloombeast is overpowering even at the highest I can put it at. It covers a 4x6 span easily and could do the whole 4x8 if I had more height. I'm revamping my fathers grow now and doing a grid pattern of the bloombeasts and gavita CMH 1000w dual ends. He has the height and space do get the most outta them. He's always gone HPS but I finally got him to go led after he's seen what I achieve with them and the savings in energy bills. And I'm doing a geothermal cooling system to save on the a.c costs as well. He won't let me take any pics of his grow bc he's old school and don't trust the internet or technology lol.i also got him to switch from flood and drain to top feed drain to waste drip irrigation. It's very similiar to this picture just bigger and less exspensive.lol.

Green planet is great but overpriced i love AN stuff and ph perfect is sooooo nice not having to ph my solutions everytime. I thought i had calmag issues in the transition to flower in my soil grows but what it turned out to be was nutrient lockout from buildups of nutrients and other solids from my tap water. So i had to get a RO water filter witch i absolutley love. Nitrogen is a Mobile element and helps carry the calmag through the plant and most calcium and magnesium is derived from things that contain a small amount of nitrogen too if I'm not mistaking but could be wrong. That little bit of nitrogen shouldent affect your plant at all or lead to nitrogen toxicity. Theres this myth that led lights cause calmag deficiencies as well witch is a lie. And some of us like yourself spot calmag deficiencies where others dont. So they might have a bit of a calmag deficiency and not know it. And there's alot of other micro nutrient and other deficiencies that look like calmag and aren't. Most people including myself jump right onto the calmag train right away instead of entertaining other possible scenarios like potassium tox or def. Overall I look at the color, texture, veins, and appearance of the leaves to make a accurate diagnosis but it's hard to do sometimes with every strain and phenotype varrying in many ways. When your growing from clones it's easy to spot a problem bc everyone is the same and you know the strain through and through. That's why I feel that autos are way more difficult to grow.

Ya man I've heard from some long time grows and they said most people have the cal mag pro also have a p or k problem as well I don't no how accurate that is but as u said there are others that look similar. I also wonder about cal mag bc in my situation I'm thinking it could be a small mix of that an p or k I will have to run a few of the same an do experiments to see bc the problem only really is a problem in late flower that's when leaf damage occurs anyway one day fine next day cal def , is tox and def similar in appearance like the some of the others

I grow plants 3ft or smaller and have not been training little less yield but can fit 4 3 to 4 oz plants on large side in one of my areas but I like having variety so I usually have a min of 3 but up to 6 different at a time one of my new crosses I could put 15 maybe more as they grow 18in or so and as wide as a 1gal. I maybe doing 10 or 15 in this large area I'm slowly getting up to par for flowering . Also u don't like your QB 96v2 elite I love mine great spread and penetration I would how ever not run them past 160w even that I feel is to much I've got best results with 280ish watts off the 320 driver I have 240-54/ 185/54 drivers as well but not as good in my space with higher watts good job on the win of that light

@Tyler_Durden88, that's some serious shit you got going down there.

Hi Fitzy, No I like the QB Elites a lot, they work well and are light and maneuverable. I had them running at 210W at one stage but like you I prefer them down around 160W, at the moment I'm using one on 90W. Testing the qb against a purple plus a white cob, is just for my own research. To my magical way that I view the world, it appears to me that the cannabis it self is directing what I do. I'm only growing for my own pleasure so I'm heading in a direction where the form of the plant has to be attractive to me. I'm growing them like orchids.

https://postimg.cc/gallery/lbkcja4k/ here's some shots from right now, from the top it's a rich canopy but from the side they look a bit like Cedars of Lebanon with they layers of flatish form. And you can see the supporting structure. I don't really have a grand plan at this stage I'm just trying to get inside the mind and soul of the cannabis deva. I enjoy fiddling about and re plumbing all my lines when I move my pots around so it all looks nice.
