Sounds like you've got some decent water to start with. Check the ppm of your water. I'm curious what it is. If it's over 200 you'll probably want to cut it down with distilled water. Most nutrient lines are designed to be used with 0ppm water. That was something I did not realize initially. I was ph-ing everything but didn't check my tap water.
