Here's the front of the press and the controls:
This is a push-button latch to get inside the machine:
The knob on the left is the tension control for how fast/quickly the bottom arm/ram moves up and down.
There's the middle red Emergency Stop just in case dangly bits get caught in the press or the panini smells like it's burning.
And of course the red on/off switch.
There are two control sets, the left set controls the top plate temperature and the LENGTH of time that the press stays together.
The right set controls ONLY the bottom plate temperature, although it will still let you set the length of time for the press (but it doesn't do anything.)
It was incredibly easy to set the temps and press time on this. I'll go through it here in a bit!
Let's take a peek inside!
You can see the guts and the big ram in there. It's VERY clean and VERY tidy cabling job.
On the back of the machine, there's a mounting spot for the pressure regulator which I'll show some pics of here soon:
