What kind of screen do u use tof rosin press your hash I heard it's the best way to rosin

25 micron mesh screen. I but the big pressing screens and cut them up into pieces and as I am done using them, I plece them in a tupperware container and spray them with 91% iso to clean and rotate them out after they dry, as I go.

I personally use unbleached coffee filters. Nice and cheap and effective

When cutting the screens, are you melting the loose ends?
I've heard of fibers making their way into the rosin if not melted to seal them up.

I tried it before and it sucked up alot of wax I thought around the edges

I finally got this technique to work! I have tried a few times over the last few months with zero success. Same thing was happening last night until I grabbed a chunky freshly clipped bud of TD. I pressed that thing four or five times and got a nice bit of rosin. I had to sample it, of course and since it kept me awake until AFTER 3:00 am, I moved on to some cured indicas that I have. I got nothing - zero, zip, nada from two different strains. Is that common for any of you? If it happens do you just start adjusting heat and pressure?

One last thing, does anyone know if the rosin can be slightly heated, mixed with vapuer extract (PEG 400) and used for e-pen vape oil?

I have found that some strains press better than others.
For the ones that don't press well, I will usually make dry ice hash and press the hash.
Much better results that way.

Yes sir, I hit them with a lighter all around the edges. I dont like threads in my stuff!

I like it u want the one with the smaller plates I think it is a money saver I call the club a lot less and it's very safe it's good to make oils to eat but if u can't grow super frosty I would skip it I put sum bud in it and got shit it you have to have good bud or hash

Hey dudes, I just found out about this technique and gave it a go. All I can say is WOW, this is fantastic lol. I've been super high all day off of these very rosinous buds. I've been getting a 20% return in rosin. Feels nice to finally be able to see what the hype has been about with the oil. I feel I will keep this as an occasional use. Could see myself using this a bit to much and allow the tolerance to go farther than it already is. Possibly only on weekends lol. I can feel it in my face, its fantastic really I'm super stoned.

Is parchment paper not the best thing to use? I have no problem getting the oil off the paper, however I noticed that there is oil that sticks to the bud and not the paper, and will not come off. Is there some fix to this, oil pads ive heard?
