@Son of Hobbes came over the other day to press some Gorilla Glue.

We made a 1 gram puck and a 1.5 gram puck

Pressing the 1g puck at 190F for a little over 90 seconds

Then we folded the chip that was left, adjusted the plates for the smaller piece that was put in and pressed it.

Next we pressed the 1.5g puck

Then we folded both chips together and repressed them together

I was surprised by how much rosin was in the chips after it had been pressed already.

We started out with 2.5 grams of Gorilla Glue. Here is the final chip after it has been pressed, folded and repressed, the two chips together and pressed again. It weighs 2 grams meaning .5 gram yield. Giving us a 20% yield.

MyRosinPress has become popular in our little town...a neighbor came over after going to a local dispensary, and wanted some rosin from 4 different strains (unfortunately he couldn't remember the names )

We made 2, 1 gram pucks and 2, 1.5 gram pucks

All scraped together

I always plan on stacking the chips and repressing. We can get a little more out of it.

We actually repressed twice

On a recent visit to town, which of course included a stop at one or two dispensaries. I picked up some Casey Jones buds that looked like they would press well.

Pressed twice

I smeared the rosin on a paper and rolled a joint.
I Love the way the rosin tastes...a definite difference then concentrates made with solvents!

It's time to make a topper for Eek's pipe.
We picked up some Blueberry Headband and I made a 2 gram puck.

I squished at 210 F for 100 seconds.

It smells good too!

I always do a second press with good results

I had some Island Sweet Skunk that I thought might press well.

Pressed 1 gram at 190 F

2nd time press

This was presses at 190 F for 120 seconds.
