Indoor Root Riot vs. papper towel to soil

The plant on the left was germinated in a Root Riot cube in a humidity dome, both plants treated same after germination. I am really shocked at size difference. I am worried about their size after 21 days still very short.(Chronic Ryder) Should I be in taller pots I have some room?

might be late now but mine dwarfed my 2g pots near finishing but im using a hid

Yea i was thinking for my next grow i have 2 more seeds thats just popped... prolly going to go with a taller round pot and see if there is a difference....

is there any disadvantage too root riot? I dont understand while people are using the paper towel method? I am on my first grow and every lowryder seed i put into root riot sprouted in 48 jours after soaking it in water till it droppes to the bottom of the glass... I dont know just thinking out loud but I'll never use any other method.. (First time grower so maybe I'm wrong)

thanks for the info... i popped 3 in them and then my case of 30 dried out... i rehydrated but my new seed hasnt yet after two days I'll try fresh cubes...

Update:

just harvested both plants root riot plant grew huge but yellowed very fast from what i think was root bound... i have two more in RR cubes 1st pic rr cube second not
