Hello all
I will get to the point immediately, i have seen many growers put seedlings in a party cup and then transplant to a biger pot. This helps the young plant to develop some roots before going into the actual plant. After that the plant's roots get to the bottom of the container and just grow in a round shape.
And here comes my idea... would it not be better if during the life of a plant we transplanted (or found another way to do it) so that the plant stops at a certain point in a pot the routs go round at that point and then continue and do the same 3-4 times in a big pot.
This would allow for a plant to have more roots so bigger yields.
Anyone thinks this is a good idea???
I know it is not that much of an atoflower question but still this could have some use!!
Please tell me what you think

:booya:Hey I got an Idea, someone should come up with a pot with holes in the side and when the roots hit the holes they self prune and continue on in another direction, therfore rerouting the roots in many directions and not just in circles.Oh,I think i'll call it a AIRPOT!!!!!!
Just add some mychorizae root stimulater to your mix and you'll have all the roots you want.My head is circleling around from reading all this,so I have to go lite one up to straighten it out.
