New Grower Roleadro COB--Rookie

update---- I tried to print the instructions for the signature, ran out of ink, just got back from wally world--- they wanted $45+:nono: for my ink cartridge for my printer---- that's more than gold!!!!! oil-well-so much for the printer. Back to the pen and paper and the signature trick----:jointman:

Well congrats on that and a bit of this :slap: for ya

Day-82- Ruby is about 70% all brown pistols, wont be long at all. I was going to start a new bigger grow in the 4x4 tent, but iv'e been talking with a realter, I own this trlr. but I don't own the land it sits on. Its all got to do with growing pot outside on my own land. Rite now iv'e got a letter stating I can grow pot inside with a filter, with a current personal production license. They have raised the lot rent twice in the last year, and no tellin were it is going from there. Any way, I have got to turn my grow room back into a front bedroom, I have the 6" vent going out of the side wall, 6" hole to fill, 2 tents to take down, front toilet is leaking----blah-blah-blah. Going to use my good old VA loan and move into a real house! Thanks to all that helped me with these new LED lights and my 2 brain cells, there has been so many, my dog really thanks you, iv'e got to bad of a memory to mention all of you------warning---I will stick around the site, but I won't open a grow journal until I move--I have to stop being lazy, there is lots of work to do to get this place ready to show 55+ age people--------This is a nice safe place, just don't like living in a very controlled community------later-----:jointman:

My buddy just got a Q. B. with a dimmer, he loves it!!! Did you happen to have the Platinum light height as those instructions suggested? Or did that depend on different grows? Did you get these famous brown spotsView attachment 1078375 I allways get them around the 5th or 6th week into growing? Is that kinda normal for these lights? I use TaNgs easy auto feed schedule with A.N. + 5ml. per. gal. CAL-MAG+ every watering, all bubbled and ph'd to 6.4, in soil- the soil ph is 6.8 on the accurate 8 meter---Full of questions-- i'm getting pretty good smoke, just ugly!!!!Those lights are built like tanks and they are very intense and have a very good 5 year warranty, I have probably asked before, I have just got a strange brain:dizzy:----it is good to hear from some one that owns a Platinum brand!:jointman: It says 18" for the final height--it says 24" early veg- 18" final--- hmmmmmmm----:shrug:the tips of the leaves sure are curling up that close, I got them at 20" now---I have been experimenting a lot with these lights, it's just nice to hear from some one with real experience. When I first came to the site I read a thread from Muddy about how to tell when your ready for harvest-- just watch the leaves he said---well, its hard to watch your leaves when they look like mine early on!-----Thanks again for answering so quick-----:jointman:@PlatinumLEDTom

What's up @rick-j!?!?! Happy Friday! I hope i'm answering the right question. You are correct in saying that 24" is a common distance for VEG and 18" durring bloom. Keep in mind different strains will have different light sensitivities. They have genetics from all over the planet. Make sure they are happy and healthy and the leaves are praying towards the light. Any signs of stretching, slowly move the light closer and any signs of stress move it further away.

Watch the CalMag levels as well. Ladies like to absorb those nutrients like crazy under the lights.

Have a great weekend!!!

Thanks @PlatinumLEDTom , your lights are very intense, built like tanks-- I purchased a P-300 3 years ago in Idaho, very illegal pot state, I was pretty much confused, scared, still, always, your light had the best of advertising, the strongest LED available, does your light normally make leaves crispy???? Aren't leaves supposed to be green???HMMMMMMMM-- I must be doin something real wrong--- maybe the nutes?? Iv'e got good smoke lately, just a little crispy---I saw a plant about 3 years or so ago, think it was a dirt devil or something---, it was grown under a P-300 on this site, no crispy critters-- Is it ok to have crispy leaves??? very interesting--- Talk to me----its not normal kinda, isit???

Best of luck @rick-j. I’m sure we’ll see you around. I’ll be looking forward to seeing your next journal.
