New Grower Roleadro COB--Rookie

Yeah, i saw it. Me has still a P 600 and had wonderful grows grows with it, but switched to Quantum Boards ------> much better spectrum and 70% less power consumption.
My buddy just got a Q. B. with a dimmer, he loves it!!! Did you happen to have the Platinum light height as those instructions suggested? Or did that depend on different grows? Did you get these famous brown spots 100_2475 (2).JPG I allways get them around the 5th or 6th week into growing? Is that kinda normal for these lights? I use TaNgs easy auto feed schedule with A.N. + 5ml. per. gal. CAL-MAG+ every watering, all bubbled and ph'd to 6.4, in soil- the soil ph is 6.8 on the accurate 8 meter---Full of questions-- i'm getting pretty good smoke, just ugly!!!!Those lights are built like tanks and they are very intense and have a very good 5 year warranty, I have probably asked before, I have just got a strange brain:dizzy:----it is good to hear from some one that owns a Platinum brand!:jointman: It says 18" for the final height--it says 24" early veg- 18" final--- hmmmmmmm----:shrug:the tips of the leaves sure are curling up that close, I got them at 20" now---I have been experimenting a lot with these lights, it's just nice to hear from some one with real experience. When I first came to the site I read a thread from Muddy about how to tell when your ready for harvest-- just watch the leaves he said---well, its hard to watch your leaves when they look like mine early on!-----Thanks again for answering so quick-----:jointman:@PlatinumLEDTom

Day-78- Temp's at 79f-- RH at 50%-- Nothing new--- just trying to keep my hands off her--I think I saw that movie on Netflix---I'm waitin on some info for that light maybe, it makes a big difference when you hear from some one that knows how to use it. Maybe some one with a much greener thumb toooo!----- oh- yea- @ The Mongol, its all RO water from the tap

You got this yo!
Im real elevated this morning, just smoked the last bit of my first ever own grown weed, so excuse me if i ramble.
So what if your leaves are ugly?? At this point in the grow the leaves should have served their purpose right?
The buds on your gals looks great, and thats the real important part!
As far as your light, i wish i could help ya there. Im still learning my lights, ive got the 65w autocob and the 160w qb. Theyre both bitchin and both do different things really well.
On the subject of lights, ive been eyeing another qb to add to the tent. In my mind this makes sense, but id love to have 2 qbs as main lights and then the 1 autocob to fill in.
Anywho, relax you got this yo, and soon youll be enjoying the fruits of your labors!

No worries mate. @PlatinumLEDTom is knocking aout somewhere, or at least he was. He'll get this tag and might be able to tell you more on the layout of diodes, and why/how they got to that orientation

What's up @Ribbzzy! I hope you are enjoying life. I'm not sure exactly what you mean by the layout of the diodes...but i'm happy to help!

Day-76- Thanks @FullAuto245 , iv'e seen that dude before, he has always got beautiful plants, I will definitely check out his extraction video, man I love that shatter!!! Ruby is doing fine, Temps at 79f-- RH at 51% this AM. I gave her a drink of plain water yesterday. She has spent almost her entire life in this 2-1/2"x 2-1/2" tent with no extraction fan and the doors open, Vicks humidifier, 1- 6" fan inside above the cola, 4' osculating tower fan on low outside the front of the tent. Those LED lights she is under, Platinum-(P-300), HAVE UNUNIFORM diods, or whatever you call them, LIGHTS, its 18" long, a little spread all over heavy more on 1 side than the other, more heavy red on the left side, more white far right, very noticable?? Maybe its supposed to be that way? Any one that has one can maybe answer that for me. Happy Friday------:jointman:
Hi @rick-j! I hope you're doing well. Can you send us a picture of what you are seeing under the P300? Not sure we understand what you mean by heavy red on one side and more white on the other. The spectrum should be relative consistant throughout the light.

Best, Tom

I think he is talking about a slight bias of red diodes on one side, and blue on the other side. To the eye it could look uneven in colour distribution.
