New Grower Roleadro COB--Rookie

LED’s and coco use up the calcium I’m pretty sure. Some plants are just cal mag hogs. I have one strain that I fought defienceies the whole time. Others were just fine with same amount of CM. Once it starts it doesn’t go away on those leaves. You just want to monitor new growth to see if it is corrected.

Hello Rick-J,
For me the my Zkittlez have needed supplemental Cal-Mag from the very beginning, it showed early on them. I would just start increasing your Cal-Mag dosage and keep an eye on your new growth. Good luck......and watch out for the BOY'S this year!!!

Day- 48 for Lollita, and 16 for Ruby, she looks very happy. Lollita looks ok, the newer growth looks good, I just hate those brown spots. I started with 5 ml. per gal. of cal-mag, went up to 81/2 ml. last watering[ RO, ppm at 0045] on 5/11. My PH was 6.5 after nute's,, run off was at 6.2, didn't do the ppm after the nute's. The Accuate 8 meter was at 5.2 on 2 different days,? using FFhappy frog soil. Will keep my eye on that newer growth. I hate to see those spots. I'm going to switch soils after this batch of fox farms is gone, maybe that's causing the spots? Thanks again for the help----:jointman: Happy Growing---

Day-49 , and day-16-- Just watered Lollita---- 8ml. per gal. of Sensi Bloom A&B, 8ml. per. gal. cal-mag+, 4 ml. bud candy, 4 ml. overdrive per gal. PH was at 6.4 after nute's, ppm was at 1073. Run off PH was 6.1-- ppm was2440. The Accuate 8 was at 6 after a couple of readings, after watering. Those spots are on many leaves, but I just saw some beautiful buds being harvested on this site with those same spots, I think you just have to live with them with certain LED's, and RO water. I just hate those damn things! I've seen many different harvest with many different LED'S, mostly on u-tube and on this site, I have seen real different looking leaves. I've had 2 grows before this one with LED's, this is my first I think I know what im doing, I never saw those kind of leaves before when I grew with t-5's only. Lollita is getting very frosty, her bud sites are very green and are starting to put on some weight. Ruby is still growing like a weed, moved her up to 45", her RH is at 87%. 100_2092.JPG 100_2105.JPG Can't focus worth a shit! Maybe that's why I got it so cheap?:jointman:Happy Growing----

Day-50- Lollita looks ok, lots more noticeable rust spots. It has spread to the bigger leaves up to the top now. It is very green around those bud's. I think it's the lights & the RO water? I had this same pattern last grow, but I also had a Platinum p-300 in the tent, I thought that light might have caused the spots? I finally asked for help , I think I remember @Waira , it's me again,:jointman: him telling me that some LED lights just drain the green out of plants. He told me a bunch of stuff, very helpful, I forgot most.:baked: I think i'm doing a lot better this grow, was hopeing not to see those 'spots' again. Will you please look at my pic's above, and TaNgs nute sch.. Advanced nutrients, and tell me what you think, I'm growing with those Roleadro COB'S at 24", FF Happy frog in 5 gal. smart pot. I know that ff soil has been suspect, but the Accurate 8 soil ph was at 6. I just added those t-5's on the side for heat and supplemental light about a week ago. Maybe I get a little to freaked out, my plant doe's look pretty good, I just hate seeing those leaves lookin so bad, but if it doesn't effect the quality of the bud much, I certainly can live with that. I always ask my friend @archie gemmill also, so tell me what you think about those pesky " spots" on my leaves. Ya'll send me some good info! Has any one else experienced the same pattern before? Thanks to all for the help!-----:jointman:

Day-51 and 19-- Lollita looks ok. Temp's at 79f, RH at 37% this AM. Ruby was transplanted last night into a 3 gal. plastic pot with a million holes drilled into it and lined with fine plastic screen to hold the soil in. She looked good this AM. Lollita looks like she has the measles? Happy Growing--:jointman:

Day-52- Bud sites on Lollita look good, starting to get bigger and frostier, the rest of her looks like shit! The spots have started to take over all her bigger leaves. It's starting to go to the smaller leaves now. She will get fed today at 5:00 pm. Maybe i'm giving to much cal-mag, 8 ml. per gal.? It's gotta be calcium. Maybe not enough? Maybe it's just the way these cob's grow with RO water? Some kind of lock out? I just hate those spots! I have been using TaNgs auto fed sch. in FFHF soil, Temp's have been 71f-81f, RH has been low, 25%-52%. I thought I was doing things right after a few grows of not feeding right. You tell me. I went to the infirmary threads and found a lot of people having trouble with different spots on the leaves, hopeing to find a solution. Day 20 for Ruby, she looks real good for now.:jointman:

Day-52- after feeding-- 8 ml. per gal. of water of each, Sinsi bloom A&B, 4 ML. of Bud Candy, 4 ml. of overdrive, 9 ml. of cal-mag with a PH of 6.4, no ph up or down. I think this is going to be one of my best harvest ever, even if she looks like this, LED leaves, They will curl up and die , but the buds are draining the good stuff out of the leaves. Iv'e seen a lot of these bad leaves around, Come on Girl Scout Cookies, i'm having lots of fun, I think lights are [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG], i just hate those unhealthy looking leaves, It makes the whole grow more stress full than need be. Big Smo Auto-Cobs are what i'm thinking? 100_2134.JPG 100_2138.JPG The towel in the bucket was the best advice I got!100_2142.JPG Lillie says hi. Happy Growing:jointman:
