Having spent some time working for a large tech corporation at one time, Ide have to say thats oddly, 100% accurate.
Dude! LOL!
It was like that when I went to work for State Govt. It was a little less than a year after I was discharged from the military. So you can imagine how much it spun me to see that silly ass crap? My regimented ass made E-7 in the shortest time possible, before 30yrs old, and got better than Jesus Christ evals
(I walked ABOVE the water!)!!!!
It tweaked my ass so damn bad! Real bad! I had run-ins with my so-called supervisors!
An example: Like when I was honest with him about the time I actually worked was more hours than I documented. This friggin' moron actually tried to
reprimand me for that!
He
was going to do that.
When he called me to the office, which I seldom came in because of the cost I'd have to charge them, to discuss the issue, I confronted him with this and a huge smile. "Are you sure you want to tell your superiors that your are
reprimanding me for excelling in my job and doing
above what is required?"
He looked at me kinda funny, even for him, and dismissed me. I never heard more of
that crap.
I'm smiling my ass off thinking about that.
It wasn't much better in corporate America either. Unreal!
