Try to tape up the holes in that cover! Also next time in full size PLANT IN THE MIDDLE!!! ;)
The only point doing it to side in a junior is cuz of box size it makes it easier to topdress! Full size has more than enough room tho! I wonder if u get the casters for it and the kit for tomato plants if it would work to use as a place to lst from! Think it’s tall enough could maybe make a net cage off it to have a 3D scrog setup! May need to experiment! I added those carts under my juniors and use plant stakes and bamboo stakes cut to size wire tied in as sidebar pieces! They make locking pieces tho to use actual plant stakes as sidebars to make a cage! Maybe adding plant stake into each corner and then some sideways pieces u can open her up when it’s time!
I put the girl to one end so I can just pull the main towards the other end. not have to split the mounding up. The roots will still go everywhere and fill the EB.
Yeah, I still gotta tape it up and cap the fill tubes. Just keep forgetting to get some shot glasses at Wally World. All my shot glasses I have are sentimental.
I was trying to get some clips of sort that would snap in under the lip of the edge surrounding with something sticking up/out to tie off to for lst. My friend that was gonna tackle it with is 3d printing got covid and it kicked his ass.

The stand kit eats up floor space with the outriggers in a 4x4. Your rigged set up works better than that one.

I think something can be hot glued or epoxied to the bottom to stick out enough to stick bamboo or round dowel into a hole in that glued piece to tie off to.

I'll make do with something on this run to and figure something out on the next run.

I'm making tea for Kong and Sour Stomper.
I'll brew the simple compost with a teaspoon of kelp and alfalfa for 24hrs. I'll blend a little bit of malted barley and add it to the tea along with a dose of Recharge and brew for 4 more hours. Just before pulling the brew, I'm gonna add a tiny bit of Yucca powder. I think I'm gonna make yucca a regular part of watering the regular pots. I really think adding yucca becomes more important the smaller of a pot you go.

My veggie bin and then my worm bin (my 2 full size boxes) May need to clean them both out and put them in the 4x4 for the 2 x4 autos! Guess depends how fast these current 2 finish out! Afraid may not be done in time! Wonder if 1 full size is big enough to do those 2 photos side by side in 1 box in my 2x4! Then train them to fill the tent!

Oh and yes u really with the full size need to top water at the size @WildBill plants are at....(that’s an FYI for u too Señor Bill E Goat! That reservoir is far too deep for plant at this size to get water from! Don’t gotta do often or close to plant but add 1/2 gal to top of box every few days).... oh and back to it YA u just keep that internal reservoir full and soil wicks the moisture up and heat from light etc makes water evaporate out the soil and that cover catches it and drips it back down onto surface to keep it moist up there! I DID NOTICE IN FULL SIZE THO I DID NEED TO TOP WATER OR SATURATE WITH SPRAY BOTTLE HEAVY WHEN TOPDRESSED THE KASHI! Such a large area doesn’t stay moist like junior! May be better tho as to not creat root issues staying TOO moist!
Yeah, I've misted the tops a bit and put the cover back on. It will last longer if I tape it up well. I didn't mound up the compost a lot with the wicking in mind. The Roots Organic wicks really well. The moisture was perfect on the top before I added the compost.

WHATEVER U DO DO NOT ADD A TEA TO THE RESERVOIR BUDDY! The soil takes way too long to wick it up so it 1000% goes anaerobic down there! If u do a tea do while reservoir is empty so soil is a lol more dry and top water it! Do it slowly and watch the fill tube for when u see a small amount of liquid in reservoir! In that big box u can prob do a gallon or so maybe 1.5 topwatered depending how moist soil is now! I’ve messed plants up doing teas in the boxes! Ph also what dry nutes u using?? I have never actually mounded my nutes up but did finally get this! Need to add some tomorrow morning! Candy dawg has had issues and think needs calcium badly! I flushed her tonight topwatering and then tilting the box at an angle once water ran down into reservoir so I could pour it back out! Be dumb not to cuz then it wicks back up what was flushed out! Ran like 1.5gal thru top of soil and dumped it! Then did lil over a gallon just into reservoir and was literally black sludge coming out and it stank like friggin rotten asshole! Part was worm castings that make their way down but that mixed with the stuff in teas made it double gross! If I gotta put in reservoir I wait til big enough they at least take up .5gal in a day at minimum (so it’s not waste of time brewing but for multiple plants) but regardless of putting in reservoir never add more than it can suck up overnight! Even that is iffy cuz think how fast a tea goes bad either brewing too long or stopping air pump during brew! Gets anaerobic and will do more harm than good! Took me a hot min to put 2+2 together to know what was being a pain during the grow!

I think two in an EB in a 2x4 would do well to fill it up!

Also once it’s big enough to tape up around stem it’ll help! Also tho the more u add compost and deeper it gets the drier it’ll be up top! Can only wick so far!

Wonder if maybe I should do full size in the 4x4 with those 2 auto testers in same box! Maybe need to see if anyone has done it successfully yet or if not may need to use seeds I have more of to experiment with! Not ones I got limited stock of cuz don’t really wanna risk losing tester beans! Then I’d defeat the purpose and look like a doofus!

Yeah Bro! I learned from your girls about the tea. I don't think I'll add the EM1 either.............even seldom used. I'll just use plain water, add compost, and add a few select dry amendments along with the bokashi this first run. Keep things as simple as possible this first run and learn from it. Next run I can experiment some. I have a test run with Proph's Pinky coming up after this run and I can use one as a control and try something with the other. I'll prolly run just four, but try something different with each to see how they respond.

Yup!

Just depends on how big they normally get.
I really wanna do a Kong in a full size EB, but that's two grows away. I just wanna see how big I can get one!
