Indoor RocBudInc genetics Perpetual SIP earthbox grow

Also got some pics last night after lights out! Was kind of forced to since lights went out on me when I was finishing up taking the scope shots!

Hey @Mañ'O'Green i know u are both helpful and knowledgeable ;) You got any insight on those trichs in pics up above?? Some have a weird fuzzy look like the trich head is having a bad hair day and haven’t found any info online anywhere telling me what causes it!
I had the same reaction when I saw the fuzzy trichomes - WTF!

I have not seen that before?

I was taking down some of my boxes and found that just after 3 days the soil layer was bone dry. Roots totally packed the soil layer. I had noticed that when watering twice a week they were taking less and less. Just figured they didn't need it. But when I removed the soil/reservoir "cover", what should have been water was half full of what appeared to be worm castings. Roots were so packed into the wick tubes I had to pound em out.
Kind of surprised to see all the castings in the rez as the hole in my cover are only 3/16" vs the 3/8" of the EB's. Guess I'll have to start watering more frequently as time goes on and/or put screen over the cover holes

After seeing Mark's EB months ago, I hot glued window screen over the grate.

Fantastic man. Good to see this strain grown out properly. I always had a crowded tent but fell in love for sure. You've grown alot more rocbudinc than me. How has this compared to others so far? I liked the rocdawgfunk more and the purple roc bx1 less than this

I noticed same with castings in a junior I dumped out after running back to back run but ones I dumped last night not so much! Did have wild ass roots wrapped around fill tube but not inside it! These plants were transplanted tho so no taproot continuing to go downward til it can’t so only roots down there had grown along side of inside tray! Others I started and direct planted they have wild roots down there and plants have definitely seemed far more sensitive to me!
Had to flush a plant few days ago so had to top water and then tilt box at an angle to get water out reservoir and when I got to end of dumping it was thick black sludge coming out from castings! Had to run bunch of water thru it til was coming out clear! Maybe instead of adding more castings next time I’ll just add oly compost!

MOB had a good idea with the reasoning behind transplanting.
Check out my last post on my grow thread. On my next run, I'm gonna mod one of them to be able to flush the rez easier.

The other thing was I had a lot of dead worms down there so the water/soil was pretty rancid.
That dandelion ferment you made-did you use just the flowers or the whole plant. Just noticing they are flowering here so thought I'd try making some.

LOL! Springtime my Grandma would make me run around the neighborhood and gather them up for her!
