These things make some crazy growth and plants are easily trainable either with something with some weight hung from branches, had tops pulled over with plant yo-yo I hooked under lip of box but took it off, and most success I had was from putting some Velcro around outside of box and use the Velcro plant tape to pull open....top over etc. Last time around made a monster with toofless alien but she was super stretchy in comparison to PRB! Topped this girl and started pulling over at an angle so the lowers can get some light and since a few are about up to 2 main tops height I would guess it’s working! At least with these boxes if starts growing funky it can be adjusted in the ties and grows real fast so can open up or change direction pulling top over whatever! I suck at training and make it a breeze in these ebjr!

Hey looking good brother! Not sure if its the lights/camera combo...but I noticed some paler looking leaves on a few plants in Flower. Can be light intensity, or maybe just the pics. Just checking for ya. Your color looks perfect on veg, I just see lighter color in flower on certain plants. If you have any GNATS around that can also cause issues in flower moreso than veg. If you notice any slowing doen of water uptake, it can be overwatering. Good luck, slow

@slowandeasy Question. Wondering how long it takes to see changes in "nutes" with sips. I would assume it takes longer than top watering.
Depends on strain, SIP DEPTH, and also amount of soil you are using. Also, people use differrnt ammendments and even starting "nutes" ratio can be different. Lots of factors really. What I notice in some my SIPS is actually light related. Having lights too close or too intense will make them more hungry or lighter looking due to lamp distance. Often keeping further away solves that issue. Also top dressing can be beneficial or overkill, you have to read your plants individually with Organics. Also, I run lower rez levels in veg vs flower. Once in flower I try to keep more full. Dont want the soil to dry up too much. Not sure if that helps at all. But its what I see. Peace, slow

I can tell u these last plants I ran in the juniors I gave them exact same as I did the plants in the radicle bags and having worms in the boxes (I ASSUME IT IS WHY) but they seemed to break down any topdressing much faster cuz the 2 in the bags wound up with N def and needed a feed with fish hydrosylate and a tea to spring back but the juniors had no issues with them!

And if u are referring to plant that is kinda poking into that pic up there I am guessing from using moisture meter in rain science bag I prob shoulda only been watering every 3 or so days but was doing a every 2 days in flower! Also had gnats show up which is why I had to order those assassin bugs but they only hunt in foliage so they were able to still be annoying until I got my shipment in of nematodes and predator mites and now only seen 1 or 2 here or there but no babies showing up and been able to quickly spray any adults that sneak in with dr zymes if they actually make it in and aren’t stuck to sticky trap! :smoking:

I figured my ? was clear as mud, lol. What I'm wondering is say I have a phosphorous deficiency and I make a tea with seabird chit and pour it into the reservoir. How long would it take for the plant to receive the benefit? Day, days, week? I realize it will differ by amount of soil, water etc. Just trying to get a rough idea. Course while I'm writing this I'm thinking "use a foliar spray if you want it to hit quick dummy", however, there may be times I don't want to spray like during flowering.

I saw a P def this time around and since the roots grow right up out the top of the soil under the covers u put over box I didn’t worry about making tea and I just popped cover off and topdressed couple teaspoons of it and within couple days I saw no more leafs being affected! But if it’s in bloom it can easily suck up the entire 1gal reservoir and on toofless alien I used prob just under 2 gal a day in full bloom and reduced to just over a gallon as she finished up! If u do a tea I would say just leave a gap in your schedule so no overlap! Like rather than topping water res off just skip a top off so that it will be basically dry res so none stays sitting in there and never fully sucked up! I made sure to do that when I used either urb naturals microbes or my mycos chum stuff to feed microbes cuz if it didn’t get fully sucked up within couple days I would notice the overflow water from filling res came out smelling like a van load of dead horses! :gassy::deadhorse:

Yeah, I just water/feed on Sun and Wed. My big bins usually take around 1 1/2 gallons. I had a bad batch of EM1. Took forever to get rid of the smell. I'm changing my boxes out so fill tube is at opposite end of drain to hopefully push some of the old crap out. Think I'm going to start running 1/4" air hose down the fill tube to help mix it it up

I just got a sample pack from tereganix like 6 days ago so decided to take oz from the 4oz sample bottle and make a batch of activated em1 to make it go further! U ever made that stuff??

Yesterday and ph says it was ready via the ph so supposed to let it go another 5-7 days and ready to use! Lasts 45-60 days and got 16oz or activated em1 outta tech .75 of an oz of it! Supposed to be 29oz of water & 1.5oz of both molasses and em1! I wanted to just make in a water bottle so cut recipe in 1/2 to give it a try! Gonna prob try to make em5 and em1 fpe (fermented plant extract) cuz says u can alternate foliar of the 3 and not only do leafs get some food but also says works to kill and also deter pests! Never tried it but if it helps gotta be cheaper than buying a $100 gallon of amazing dr zymes stuff!

Yeah I’ve been using EM-1 and have made activated EM-1. It’s good stuff I’ve made different sprays for different reasons. Google it u can put it in your septic use as a cleaner, odor control not for cannabis grows but bad odor like garbage. Watch some of their videos. Cool stuff.
