Indoor RocBudInc genetics Perpetual SIP earthbox grow

I actually already started soaking a diesel cookies from rocbudinc and was having tough time deciding! I think I’ve seen enough people mention springtails as non harmful that not gonna super stress it but still gonna do a light top watering on box box to at least kill some of the eggs on top of soil from last oly compost I added on there! Also gonna dig up other lady so I can verify my suspicions about root rot!
ALSO SORRY TO SOUND LIKE A BEOKEN RECORD BUT CAN EITHER @MrOldBoy or @slowandeasy plz tell me how much water the big box holds even approximately??? I wanna know so I can just keep 1/2 full! Think it’s right around 3 gallons from being totally empty but not sure and don’t wanna fillit and drain just to see what she holds!:thanks:

2 gallons for Original and 1 gallon for Junior but that stoners memory bro ..... to check and let me know you can search here

:shooty:
in the case where you want to keep tank half full you might be better off with an old fashion dip stick ..... I have one made with some green wire and pipe cleaners wrapped around one end ...... I fill tank and measure full mark and put different color pipe cleaner there ...... then just stick down tube and measure water level - easy to see if tank is half full or getting empty as the water wets the pipe cleaner like oil on a dipstick sorta.

Juniors worms super happy and tons of babies! And look how clear the water from junior overflow is compared to brown sewage from full size! Clear as can be except the lil dirt in it!

My juniors are taking 3L a day!

Ya if anything I’ll ask full duplex what schedule benefited him using the air domes! For now tho just not getting fancy and I’ll use recharge on juniors til I have some mammothP! Not gonna get all fancy with the nutrients or the supplements or the inoculants! Just water and recharge is it and urb naturals cuz it’s microbes in a humic acid base! Won’t fill res all the way tho! How much does big hold or what fills it 1/2 way for ya! I went ahead for my oly compost top off and did it with build a flower instead! Figured def wouldn’t hurt anything! Worms are still super happy in the juniors! I didn’t do any dry supplements for worms just made 2” mound with BAF! Them opened lol more with the Velcro and trimmed some stuff wasting space and energy! Thanks for the pointers!! Rocit fuel dying was shocker!

Me think if you grow a plant half the size of Sam you’ll be keeping reservoir full - Sam’s water usage is in the right column - left is two seven gallon pots in separate tent ...... She used up to three gallons daily - little under two gallons average .... gal plus ounces recorded

that’s great .... don’t change a thing except you can add super fine sand or rock dust and/or egg shells to the next mulch and mammoth p or EM1 to the water ..... that’s completely it - worms are super happy and plant will be too - don’t change a thing - just keep trucking!

that’s a little shy of a US Gallon guess 3.5 quarts so that’s a lot of water - some growers do let there boxes go dry but I never did except once caught off guard and the plant drooped so I was very conscious of the water level - dip stick helpEd tremendously!

How large is the EarthBox?
The dimensions of the EarthBox are 29" L x 13.5" D x 11" H. It holds 3 gallons of water and 2 cubic feet (60 dry quarts) of growing media.

Good idea on dipstick for checking water level! But yeah goldy only took like 2.5L today but toofless used up an entire gallon by herself!

Wrong. Soil has a field capacity. 1/2 Full will not wick up as much as full Rez. I have been doing this for a VERY ling time. Moisture is the key to optimal.growth. if you dont believe in my way, dont use it. Or buy a meter and realize that younare wrong. Good luck, slow
Field capacity is a new one on me. Just looked it up and have at least a basic understanding now
