Great thinking magyver. I used to use the large paperclips for that situation.
I make my own distilled water and can produce 4-5 gallons a day, but hate running it all the time. Which is why I have the rain barrel. I'm lucky enough to live where the rain is very clean and use it all the time in the garden. Between it and the distilled I usually have 30 gallons sitting around. I like those five gallon water bottles with the handle on the side for storage.Ya bro, they just need a little help for a couple days, then they heal up stronger than b4. Just unclipped her and she got a nice knob at the break point. Lowers near caught up just perfectly.
These girls are drinking 5 gallons in 3 days, and I don't think that's near what their peak is going to be. Might actually have to buy water to keep up. Takes me forever to make 5 gallons of RO water. Got 5 other plants using the same amount as these 2 in Autopots as well. Crazy.
Hey Roasty, life's too short to wait for the RO to cook. Sounds like you need RO storage capabilities. My RO system came with a 4-gallon storage tank. I immediately added a 2nd tank -- 'cause I also run lines to my refrigerator's ice maker and my kitchen sink. But, then, still not wanting to get in a bind, I created a cheap auxiliary res from a 5 gallon plastic pail with a spigot on the bottom and a float valve on the top. I branched off an RO output line to the float valve so that the 5 gallon pail will always automatically fill itself. Now, when I go into my brew lab, I have 8 gallons at the ready from the RO system tanks and an additional 5 gallon reserve. The plastic pail system is cheap to build, and no reason that you couldn't daisy chain a few together, or just start with an even bigger pot.Ya bro, they just need a little help for a couple days, then they heal up stronger than b4. They look pretty to me!Update day 42 for Skysenberg, and day 33 for Six Shooter. I'm thinking that Sky is ready for some bloom boost, but still a little early for SS. Going to top feed in some boosters for sky till I can feed the same mix from res. Might just top feed for a week and turn her res feed off. Then both plants should enjoy the same mix for a while.
