Every day something new. I’m not sure why but this image is satisfying. Ahhhhhh...

Picture refuses to play ball, I edited it twice and it still came out sideways. Ah well just tilt your head and Make Believe :smoking:. Bubblicious trained again and I will probably flower her in about ten days depending how fast she goes. The Haze exploded and I managed to cram her in the flower tent since I'm sure she will be a monster.

I could have sworn this Biker Kush had balls, second and third look makes me think it’s a female so I trained her and will find out soon. Fingers crossed :dancer:

I decided to put some sticks in dirt.
Kidding, I managed to clone my SD3xF99 that was just shy of about 5 weeks into flower as I had a change of heart. Last thing I expected was the dead looking buds to throw roots out in my TurboKloner. They were good when I put them in, and I don’t even know how many days it was. I was about to throw them out as they were looking so crappy when the roots shot out. So if this plant is a keeper I’ll have saved her, but it will take awhile to grow. I monster cropped some other plants and man, those leaves are some kind of fucked up for awhile :haha: I will take some pics as they all seemed to grow the same and it was kinda cool the phases they went through before growing normal leaves finally.
I have no space for them so into the soilless media they went and they are keeping my cacti company for awhile.
At least I know I can change my mind and clone pretty late into flower. To ideal, but great in an emergency or when finding that keeper :woohoo1:

Hey rivetgrrl. Are those growing roots already? That is pretty impressive. I may have to give that a shot on my skunks im running. Did you have to do anything special with those ?

I used my aeroponic cloner (TurboKlone) with QuickRoot cloner liquid (0.6% IBA, 0.1% B1 and 99.3% "other" probably water :crying:) at strength advised. I still dip the ends in rooting hormone just to seal the cut as I position them because I wait to turn the machine on once all the clones are done. Not sure if it's any better than any other method but I like technology, it keeps me broke :smoking:
So in a nutshell, I did the same that I do with my regular clones. I have tried old growth, new growth, woody stems, pliable stems, all different times to harvest, and clones come out the same just some take longer than others.
Have you tried Rapid Rooters to clone with? I really like them for starting seeds and will probably go back to them instead of Rockwool or coco pucks. They are ready to go right out of the bag and there is no barrier for the roots like the fabric on the pucks, and Rockwool can be bitchy and seems to grow algae way too much.
Anyway I'm rambling...

Thanks for the rundown rivetgrrl

Spent more quality time in the Room today, here’s a pic of my Blackberry clone that was monster cropped like the one above, only not so far into flower. Note the weird leaves, and finally the new, normal growth and the plant is off like a rocket now!
Patience is needed cloning that far into flower, it takes forever to reveg them. I have heard that they produce monster buds when you flower them but I’ll have to see that to believe it. I’m just happy to save genetics I changed my mind on.

Another crap picture, it’s just clones I took off of Moonshine as I think she may be a keeper. They should root in about a week or so as the plant was just put into flower.

Most people are about the bud porn, only recently have I begun to be all about the roots. Without healthy roots you get shit plants, I neglected them for the foliage above and paid the price. Now I keep as much of an eye on the roots as the shoots.

You might want to consider replacing your airlines with black tubing. The clear stuff acts like a fiber optic light pipe and can bring light down into your root zone. It doesn't take much light to create an algea problem. Could be aggravating the root issues you are having.

I never thought about that. :thanks:I have some spare black tubing I'll replace the ones on the airstones with. Always something new to consider in all this!

You read my mind, I was going to add I'll grab more of it on Amazon, the Canadian site has something close or the same. I just bought another air pump and a Kill-a-Watt meter too.

Hey I work at Canntrust as a harvest technician, and I can confirm that reveg USUALLY produces monster buds from the clones, the odd ones that don't veg well after we don't usually keep haha. We have a couple of giant propagation chambers filled with cuttings taken around 4-5 weeks for that reason. I've not gotten into cloning just yet at home, still want to find a really good mother before I decide to do it. Probably going to be breeding again within a year hopefully.

I'm just getting back into indoor myself at home, all these hydroponic setups I'm seeing are so nice hahaha. I'll stick with coco and promix (hydroponicish soil I guess lol) for a while until I get used to indoor again, been at least 3 years. Awesome training for sure that knuckle up there is gorgeous haha.
