It is actually almost too much light for your veg time, especially unless you add CO2. I think you will need the full wattage for flower but could get by with half or even less for veg. Important for all to note - I run sales and marketing for VividGro. This light was never developed as a "grow light" - it was developed to replace T5 high bay fixtures. When I first saw it, we immediately went to work testing as a grow light. The ability to get a very uniform coverage and get extremely close to the plant is totally different. No heat, and no hot spots (typical lights have center spots with PAR levels too high for the plant) With too much light, the plant simply does not use it so no harm. But you could save some power easily by running 180 W total during the early veg time. We have end caps for configuring and holding the lights in final design, very cool. Because the lights are diffused lighting even when you lower them you get coverage across your entire footprint, increasing light to each and every leaf.
