Nice lights. They don't look like small cobs. I wasn't able to take a good look. But they look like LEDs on a PCB board with added lenses.

A LOT of these are popping out, mostly claims to follow Fluence spectrum exactly. They are very easily customized for any spce due to bar design. Uses Lumileds or Osram so the diodes itself are not expensive. Its the frame/heatsink and driver that pushes up cost. Efficiency is close to all high end LEDs so its a good choice.

Of course, I'd love to be able to see all the specs, as a lot of the above are just my best guess. They will grow some mighty plants! My only issue is with the China made driver, which is probably nowhere close to the capabilities of a Meanwell that is made in Taiwan.

Actually the LEDs used are Samsung - same as Fluence and many others use. We actually manufactured the first lights for Illumitex which is where Fluence founders came from. There is an acrylic lens for dust / spray protection, it is a little more costly than using conformal coating that many use but far easier to clean and will last longer. These LEDs are 4000 K for full cycle grow.

Running 4000 K for these lights - We currently provide three different Spectra depending on grow - veg, full cycle or flower. I have our engineering team working on a bracket that would allow growers to mix channels of spectra but that is a few months away. We will of course run a test here on Autoflower.net for "proof of pudding". PPFD - we have not measured in a tent like this - but based upon our goniometer testing probable with this set up of 480 total watts and 6 channels it should be an average close to or exceeding 800, would drop to around 700 without the tent. Uniformity is extremely high across the canopy.
Yeah mixed spectrum. That’s what I wanna see. I got my 4x8 up  ready to test :cooldance:

:toke: I'm curious about the price for this unit, but i can't for the life of me find it anywhere?

I saw @Ripper and @db003 found the vivid gro lights website and went to store locater I found mine in a local hydro shop I'm sure they added a premium but I paid almost 500 can't remember the exact number mid 400's maybe I'd suggest doing the store locator thing and ask the store if not just email them .

Yes they prefer to help u locate a local shop or they’ll put u in touch with one. I think they like keeping good relations with distributors. The light is around $500 when u look at the market for 240 watts with the unit itself being almost 2’x4’ it’s coverage is 3x5 easy. I feel in its class(high end commercial) it’s the best bang for the buck. Better then the e-sky which looks to use 561 diodes and a smaller unit with less watts. Same with forever green I feel dollar for dollar u get more with the vividgro. Also I think 3 of these in a 4x8 would do very well with autos.

 Thanks mates, appreciate the info! I'll be watching more on this light,.. About $500 is what I expected, and it seems a good value given the performance, warranty etc,... Odd they don't offer 3500K,.. I guess the 4000K has sufficient bloom spec' to perform equivalently....

I believe they r working on offering mixed spectrum units.
