Indoor RIP Dutch Passion 50% seed failure, never again...

I'm seeing soil problems there and not seed failure, images only say so much but overwatered or too hot soil look likely culprits! Dutch passion charge a lot (too much in my opinion) but the quality is top notch. I had a Think different seedling fail on me because of overwatering, thats RIP that particular seed but not RIP dutch passion :smoking:
Soil too hot means too high in nutrients, not high temperature

@Varkhond I can't see any point in soaking seeds rather than putting directly into an eazyplug. As soon as you put the seed in the eazyplug it is immediately in the same environment as a wet paper towel. When the taproot does emerge all the surface micro fine filaments are embedded inside the cube which also stabilises the plant in the soil, so you have immediately eliminated multitude micro problems for no pain.

Short Stuff, Jedi Kush is pretty quick and the most nuggety resinous plant I've ever grown. Also if you want simple, then check my my shallow water culture in my sig.

I am for sure hooked on short stuff after this shiznit i got atm for smoking. :D Noted the jedi kush for next growth. :) I think I have a problem with using lemon acid biobizz ph down so today i revert to adv hydro of holland and try if that can save my lsd 25... i think i am not waiting long enough after ph regulating and that the lemon kix messed up by to hot enviroment from decreasing ph in the new formular adjustment... hopefully i can save my current plant, its showing the same signs as the kix.. 1.5 month behind from trying new stuff man so sad. :p I will try easyplugs next time, most friends i got use those and skip the pre soaking also. :) Cheers.

Can it be ph going down and me watering to fast? using biobizz for the first time. I have not used to much nutes for sure! :) But, my mega crop has sucked up humidity and clumped, maybe it has gotten to the point it is not healthy anylonger ? (ordering a new bag of mega crop soon). EDIT: I also have not used a "dome" in the first two weeks i did before, maybe that could be a problem to i dont know? I have been watering more then normal, or lets say misting daily several times. :)

I only use any type of dome for the first few days also what @THE BEAR meant by your soil being to hot is its not suitable for seedlings also maybe start your plants in solo cups i do all my girls in them you could use a light mix if using soil to start them off and repot them in your bigger pots and that will help with overwatering

the kix will be getting leftover water from the lsd on ward, want to see if she can grow some little nugs for me anyway. :P

ah i understand now I think! But to understand fully can you explain if pre buffered coco gold or biobizz is to hot for seedlings? Have always had slow starting plants that suddenly boom so i think it is a great idea with the smaller pots for seedling man! Thanks.. Will just go for the tried and trusted jiffy pods or what medium brand do you recommend if i use solo cups? :) cheers all

I have now watered my plant(s), they sure looked dry on the top.. My new plant the LSD-25 was put into the pot slightly sprouted the 20th August, so 2 weeks and 1 day ago. Does she look fubar? I cant really remember how long it took for other plants i had to go first 3 pointed leaf's Had a really hard time with business but it is all good again now so i seem to think more straight again... sorry for my bitchout in here to, but hey ;p yall taking it good and still helpful. <3

i would replace that prerlite i also grow in autopots and I generally start all my seeds in root riots like this https://www.autoflower.org/threads/germination-the-ronin-way.33891/ and from here directly into solo cups and say around day 8 onwards I normally then pot up into my 15 litre 15ltr pots to finish also going by your pics your light is way to far away look how leggy they are so lowering it a bit
.also here a link to my thread my last dutch passion mokums tulips but you will see my solo cup starts https://www.autoflower.org/threads/...-dinafem-hso-mephisto-sssc.78551/post-2443499

lmao bro i thought it was to strong for the small babies xD i literally lost all my notes, had a big filled out book with all waterings and data all lost :p lowering it now. :) Will copy your start up! Very interesting! I am almost decided on upgrading my whole operation with an 2x4 mars hydro sp3000 kit (16% off atm with paypal added discount)... i think such a setup will give me more then enough even if i mess up a few. :p :) As i understand sp250 and 3000 is vastly better then the ts 1000 because of the driver right?

Hi there so both the SP models run of a meanwell driver but saying that I get same results under 1 TSW2000 as I do under x2 SP250s. The SP250 is discontinued now but the sp3000 is the best option I would pick if I was you with dimmer which is handy for young plants.
