Hahahahaha i think he means the mutant freak plant... maybe lol dyslexics are always being confused by their own brains so.. it must be pretty hard for someone to confuse a dyslexic.. lol!

Don't you know it!

Hi my name is Rhyce... I'm a dyslexic...
... Ri Hyce!

I said I was going to wait till just before midnight to see if the possible rising of the SODK had moved well enough along to call it a birth... Well... it took me a little while to really see what was going on. At 1am it will have been 48 hours since I hand pressed the dry seed into the soil... here we are nearly 2 days later and voila! Esso has cracked her shell, broken gound and is popping out her little green head!

So it looks like we're going with the 'Esso' - Sour Orange Diesel Kush (SODK) grow & 'Decay' soil amendment lab or 'Esso Decay' for short...

Esso Decay - Sour Orange Diesel Kush - DOB 4-5
47 hours... woah... I'm glad I taped it!
Maybe I'll get a plaque... Oh Mitch.... flmao ;)

Just about the same time yesterday I spotted the crown of the seedling popping up... 24 hours later we've got this...

PS Barring something remarkable happening, we'll update periodically as things progress...

So as I said, during this grow I'm going to try to use some stuff I've fiddled with and subsequently seen good things... Except this time, I'm documenting it and doing it like the dude's in the videos I'm watching say to do... So far, they've steered me right... oops... getting off track...

Anyway, I've recently tested something with some compelling results... so compelling that I've added this to my 'supplements' that I'm trialing. I've coined the term 'Drip Air-igation' for this growing trick...

Materials...
  • 1 tiny drill
  • 1 straw sized drill
  • 6 feet aquarium hose
  • 1 lighter
  • 1 McDonalds straw
  • 1 aquarium pump
  • 1 nail
  • 1 doobie
  • Scissors
  • Drill
Photo Jul 05, 4 02 03 PM.jpg

What to do...
  • First light and smoke the dooobie...
  • Then drill a bunch of tiny holes in the last six to eight inches of the hose...
  • Take the lighter again and light the hose end, melting it.
  • Take the nail and squish the end to seal it the trim it and feed it up the straw.
  • Drill a hole in the bottom side of the pot big enough for the straw to fit.
  • Shove the straw/hose in the pot aiming to the middle and keep going till the straw is almost all the way in.
  • Slide the straw out over the hose so the hose remains inside.
  • Plug the pump in the hose and away you go... 'Air-igation' !!!
The plant I experimented with, grew twice as big as expected. Really... so this is another tried and true thing I'm adding to this prototype of how I'll be growing things in the future... Let's see if the same thing happens again...

Yup Air is coming out! (right)

This could be a winner of an idea. These air pots a lot of us buy are a little pricey for one thing, and with those airpots there are some disadvantages. One being when maybe you have gnats for instance, those airpots have plenty of routes for the little bastards making it very hard to get them all. this home made airrigation you created only has one way in and still presumedly does the same job, maybe better. IDK. What do you think Professor Saroni?
