Oh I hear you man! I've never had this strain and am looking forward to trying it out. I've got her flowering at 79 to 82 degrees with the expectation of tight flower clusters. She's done so well, I don't want to f*ck it up at the end...
Alright, after this my crew is up to date. I've saved what is perhaps the best for last.
I've treated her like the crack whore she is... barely feeding her... paying more attention to her big sister Snaggletoof...
What does she do? Well let me tell you, this crack whore is a Dynamo Hummmm...
Devine - Sour Crack - DOB 3-16
This is a cast iron plant for sure. A no brainer to grow. Such a no brainer, I'm going to def do a SOG with this strain.
But what I'm liking best is that intoxicating SMELL!!! Oh man that sour smell just does it for me. Another one I can't wait to try. Ohhhhh... I've died and gone to heaven...
RS
P.S. Sorry about the dirty feet. I've been the garden all day.
I know! At first I thought it was a 'rotisserie' effect from turning the plant, then I noticed it was both of them. I guess Triangle Kush does this. They are growing quite different than any other strain I've grown. Wide open structure. Can't wait till they are in the 'clover flower' phase to see how all the bud sites present themselves...
Thanks Marga! I had no idea what this strain would do. I can't wait to see her finish. She's so compact and solid. She's another one that's going to luxuriate in the new lighting. Should be a good harvest.
Divine is eight weeks old today and got her first eight week and second to last feeding. With a Sledge in between... Then rinsing till ready... So... another fifteen days give or take for this sweet and sour girl! She smells like grape sour balls... Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... I can't get my hands off of her. Nice rock hard buds on this gal. She's lovin' the new light.
Divine - Sour Crack - DOB 3-16
I'm loving this strain so far. Can't wait to smoke it. If I like it I'll definitely do a SOG with a bunch of them. They're so easy to grow.
Now Snaggletoof on the other hand got a little sun burn on her top leaves when introduced to the new light. Seven days to go give or take. Lots of flowers.
Snaggletoof - Toof Decay - DOB 3-4
I really pushed this girl to the limit and for the most part she took it. Next time I'd cut back on her feeding frequency after six weeks or so... Especially if doing a mid life sledge. I've found that feeding is tricky after this sledge and not to 'flood the carburetor' after. The plants seem to be much more efficient at handling their food afterwards. So the last four weeks need not be a food festival. At least this is how I'm treating it and my two Triangle Kush are loving it.
I made this a high maintenance grow. Next time I'm going to lay back a little and see what happens yield-wise.
Took some flea flickers off the bottom and am speed drying them in a dehydrator (only for sampling). Going to see what early Toof feels like.
