Whats high speed? LOL They have anyone that lives out rural around here capped @ 1Mbps spilt up/down

Wow, that really sucks. A telegraph might be faster. I'm lucky to work for my internet provider and get all the max speeds we have to offer for free 500/50 Mbps.

Gawd i was on 56.6 dial since i got a computer...couldnt get anything except for super expensive satellite ($150 a month + $300 hook up fee) until this week. 1mbs would have been a dream come true!!

I'm going to really date myself. My first modem was 110/300 baud. In other words I could type faster that it could transmit. :smoking: Now that's some slow internet.

WOW 50!!

Not that I ever really use it. That happens to be our max business internet speed and they let us use it as well. Most of my internet is browsing and reading forums so it is all wasted on me. LOL
