Perhaps it isnt that he is gone. It is the fact that he was HERE! I am happy to have lived in a time that so many talented people passed through my life. That has really been amazing. And we ain't done yet!
So true ,im 52 this yr and been into it all at some point lol, punk as a teenager, always loved reggae back then too,but when the smoking was introduced by my mates uncle (proper old hippy)....that was it for me i regressed back to the sixties and soaked it all up ,read so much about all the greats of the time ,loved my blues music back then too .....but in the back of my head i was always sick as a pig that i missed out on that moment in time.....my old man always used to say "son your still on your way back from woodstock" lol....then i embraced the whole dance culture and spent the next 20 yrs partying and visiting ibiza at least once a yr .....good times.....ive always said my musical taste starts with abba and finishes with zappa with allsorts inbetween .....but the 2 bands that have always got me thru tough times are creedance and crosby stills nash and young.......and franks influence still lives on.....
