I am back I just left to visit my daughter and hit a deer I took out my grill and put a hole in my rad bent the hood and crinkled the one fender it is drive able but a butt ugly front end

I am doing ok it just skimmed my front end at least it did not flip up on my hood I am upset it will be at least a thousand plus to fix and five hundred deduct able if I go through insurnace

Small price to pay, sucks though, unpredictable s.o.b.s are always bounding over fences around here clear 7 ft, right into the road

We have a deer problem in my area that is two deer and one black bear in a year . I went 20 years with out hitting one animal

One must wonder if the shifting climate is making them unusually active.

Last year we still had lepidoptera flying around in late September, normally some kind of cold snap would have sent them packing. As well we actually have completely different non-native species showing up all over. Believe it or not my area is home to a population of Welsh mining bee

Glad your ok. The car can be fixed. Any deer meat for the freezer?
We have some deer running around out here but they stay off the dirt roads. They know how us Hillbilly's drive.
