For some strains it matters but these few didn't care.. I am switching pots next season as I can not stand these air pots for my style of growing so we will see what happens then..
The certainly seem to work but they seem tippy to me and are darned expensive versus fabric geopots. I am liking the squat configuration and want to explore larger sizes. I could see 7's with auto's 30" apart.

it just me or is container size less of a factor than what is said? I have plants in squat 4's that are really bulking out for the size of roots they have to rely on. Gonna be dry cans fast!

Not sure I recal seeing one.

One thing I can say. I know it is a personal preference but I don't give a hydro plant the same chops for volume I do to soil and soiless grows. I noticed a couple of the solo cups seemed to have been built out to take advantage of that. Just not my thing. I am a dirtbag. To me hydro plants just have no soul.

Says the guy running his first autopot. And 7 more waiting in the wings...
