I think I'm starting to get the handle on this retirement thing I just spent the last 2 hours talking to guy that has grown photos for 40 years . Gathered some more info and he invited back to the store anytime . While I was there a young man walked into the store and bought 3 x 5 gal pails of house brand nutrients. The whole country is growing weed .

I'm always amazed at the people I see at the Hydro shop. Every kind of person you can imagine is growing.

whats the secret to that bud fattness, that is the million dollar question on my mind this last week. I am starting to think I understand stretch pretty well.

Is it as much as half technique and equipment / half genetics? or is it mostly genetics.... that is the question. I have a lot to learn about variation in variety vs. structure.

I would say a combination of genetics, stacked nodes due to 24/0 close proximity lighting with heavy IR spectrum have influenced the height and the stacked branches.

My guess is advanced nutrients

I have switched from AN to Green PLanet nutrients since last year.

Are you smoking that amber yet? I'm trying to pick my next portal strain to grow and I think that is at the top of the list along with Ruby and fairy frost. Just so many to choose from that I can't decide lol.

Yes i have been into the amber...awesome, awesome smoke...very impressed...perhaps the most potent colored bud i have had. Awesome job on your buddies mango!

Damn, did she have any leaves on her at one stage? Or was she just pushing bud from day one
Dats one fat beech

I defoliated her for the pic. I also do selective defoliation to increase penetration to the lower quadrant.
