I started off on a Canadian forum called Treating Yourself which then went into a magazine format. I started writing smoke reports/product reviews for publication in TY, Weedworld, softsecrets and I have also been published in Hightimes and online  It took about 10 years of hard work then 4 years ago I satrted working for Dinafem as Forum manager :pass: [HASHTAG]#dreamjob[/HASHTAG]

What is the Dinafem philosophy regarding patients? What is the reason one would want to be a member?

Regarding medical patients? This is something we support and have worked hard with the medical MMJ community to get some high CBD strains to benefit the medical user :bong:

Platinum LED makes serious light a 12 band and your videos really explain PAR . I have seen some really nice grows under those bad boys. Keep up the great innovation and your commitment to your customers is second to none . It is cool when a vendor will get on a site and answer questions it does not get any better KUDOS to Mark and Tom

Cheers @Fairlynew! We always appreciate the good feedback. I've heard nothing but good things about @Dinafem-Mark as well!

Yes. In a way. Terpene profiles can be changed or enhanced by many environmental factors influencing the plants development such as nutrients, temps, CO2, wind and lighting. Plants (fruits, veggies, grapes for wine, cannabis, etc...) that grow under stressful conditions typically have more pronounced flavors. UV is known to stress the plant. Cannabis responds to that stress by creating more essential oils, flavanoids, and terpenes. You can influence or bring out specific flavors by changing the amount of blue, red, UVA and UVB light you add to your plant's lighting recipe. The isn't a ton of science out their yet for how to bring out the perfect lemon, or peppery taste. best bet is to select a strain or crossbread a strain that has the terpene profile you are looking for. Great question!

Thanks. I forgot where I read it. I've got books on books about books about cannabis I'll have to find it lol
