I'll try to walk you through it without too much detail..
Take a branch with your forefinger and thumb and then take your other hand and do the same. Twist in opposite directions nice and easy till you feel a snap sometimes you cant feel it so just twist it enough to make it a little flimsy..after you get the hang of it it's easy no thinking involved after the plant starts liking it you can hear the inner herd snap when you feel the pop in your fingers..
