Fast Buds RED DANSON RIDES THAT CALIFORNIA SNOW fastbuds mega grow-comp

never seen the micro greens before. is this just a compost/ nute thing or is there other benefits to it ?
yeah, pretty much its a nutes & compost thing. i started doing it on my outdoors towards the end of the season as a IPM thing — what turned out to be my favorite thing about it is that it really holds the topsoil together nicely. helps SO much with watering, especially with the fabric pots & airpots. thats what got me doing it indoors as well. indoors its also seemed to start to hold of the fungus gnats really well, and combined with the addition of a enzyme product [i use sfl-100] i've almost completely gotten rid of any at all.

once the plant goes into flower it starts to die off cuz its not getting much light, especially indoors with a static/above light source. when it starts to die off, i chop it all, cut it up, hopefully have semi recently harvested a plant and have some plant leaf material sitting around starting to break down, which i also cut up with. stems get cut pretty small. then i spread a layer of bokashi down, cover with the covercrop/plant material mulch and water in. i did this about 5 days ago on these three gals, when i chopped the blue dream i had in the tent, and already have some killer growth going in under the mulch!!! i'll throw pics up in another few days when its easier to see [if i didn't have such a shitty phone camera, i could def throw up pics now].

re: the microgreens — i got these as at the start of August, and the local garden stores were all sold out of cover crop until like fall. microgreens seemed like a okay backup, and have turned out to work really great with the autos. this summer for photos, i'm prob gonna grab legit cover crop from build-a-soil that grows larger and contains better bio-dynamic accumulators, but for autos — microgreens is where its at [IMO].

sidenote: if you dont run organics on everything, i'm not sure you'd really get much of the benefits other than it holding the soil together, but either way for like $2.00/a pack of seeds it'd prob still be worth it. plus, if i'ma gonna be 100, it looks really pretty in there.

WEEK 5 UPDATE

what up people?!?!? all these shots are from December 23, which is exactly week 4. i just got a new veg area set up for some photo packs i'm hunting [c99/deathstar x herijuana from motarebel, lemon g x i95 (triangle x legend og/stardawg) from deep space creations, and "dawg x goo strawberry diesel" photo reg freebie from @mephisto], SO over the next two days i'm gonna do some real nice glamor shots under the new t5. sexiness coming soon!!!

as of week 5 i've started the transition into the Dragonfly Earth Medicine fat flower, and am currently running 2/3 radient green and 1/3 fat flower. radient green in 6-3-3 NPK and the fat flower is 3-6-6. the ladies have been pretty thirsty, so its been a pretty steady feed every 48 hours, back and forth between feed A and feed B.

feed A is compost tea [compost, castings, DEM products, brewed for 48 hours] + fulvic, slf100, terpinator & yucca after brew, and feed B is h20, coconut water [the pink stuff], inner fillet 100% pure aloe juice, sillica, cal/mag, fulvic, slf100, terpinator & yucca. the fulvic, sillica & yucca are soluble from kelp4less. cal/mag & pH up are from Nectar for the Gods. compost is malibu [for high fungal content from the cow manure] and the castings are local from PDX.

ALPHA
i've super-cropped the main stem and done some LST, to create a even canopy. this gal was actually a little less stretchy than i thought she'd be, but still am very glad i kept her shorter, as not to need to have the light high enough to steal from the other two. she's been pretty happy so far, you can see the bulges at the lower branches, which i've found to be good signifiers of health/nutrient uptake.

BETA
she's kinda the freak of the group — has a quadruple node a little ways up, before the main cola takes off. you can't see it great in these images as i hadn't really noticed it yet, but will make sure to photograph in the next round. she's a little bit shorter, but because of the quad node, should just be a huge pile of colas.

¢ENT
this gal is doing pretty damn good, considering she is in a 1-gallon pot and has gotten considerable less light than the rest because of her size. looking for 1oz from her, and so far am feeling like we're on track. [on that note, currently am thinking i'll see 2oz out of the 3-gallon pot, and 3+ oz from the 5-gallon pot — i've been seeing similar results from most strains, which considering how tightly i pack my tent, i'm quite happy with.]

thats all for now — more updates coming soon, which will finally be in REAL TIME! w00p w00p!!! hope all you af'ers are having a kickass 2016 so far!!!

WEEK 6 UPDATE — GROUP

as promised — some beauty shots under florescent light this week. so far everybody is doing pretty good. "alpha" in the 5 gallon pot is fucking KILLING it — really expecting some good yields off this gal. beta is going good for its "quad-node" mutation, that i think is slowing it down a little bit. ¢ent is doing great considering her tough first few weeks, and the fact she's in a 1 gallon pot. expecting one ginormous cola rising from the soil. fun times!!!

in the tent shots, all the cali snow's are in the front, with a toofless alien in back left, and a blackberry kush in back right.

WEEK 6 — ALPHA

this gal is killin' it for me. you can see how she's really recovered from the supercropping i gave her, how the growth has benefited. i've now got an even canopy, with 4 main tops, and like 11 secondaries. stacking hasn't even really started yet, but she has slowed down in vertical growth and seems to JUST be pushing some energy into flower. frost starting to JUST show. feelin' this one — should be some big yields and hopefully way frosty.

WEEK 6 — BETA

this gal has been a little bit of a sore thumb for me — i generally get a MUCH larger plan out of a 3 gallon. i assuming its because of the quad node in the middle — from my experience with 3+ node plants, they veg/stretch a lot slower. i've seen similar results with a trinodal plant. HOWEVER, she is still truckin' along pretty well, and is obviously going to kill the 1 gallon as far as yields go. because of the quadnode, there is a lot of branching going on, so hoping she stacks well. again, from experience with the "freaks" they can go nuts in flower, because they haven't used as much nutrients in the soil as the other plants and have a large supply of very broken down [enzymes] nutrients.

WEEK 6 — ¢ENT

1 gallons. what looks like will be 1 very large cola. you could fit 4-9 of these in a VERY small tent [2' x 2' footprint]. for like $60 bucks for a tent that size, and about $95 for a mars hydro reflector 48, you can get growing for PRETTY cheap. this plant is mostly proof of concept of that. three 3-packs of seeds, 3 flavors, >3 months — at least 3-4oz of end product. considering i live in oregon, and have a TON of friends that would love to grow their own product, but feel intimidated by the entry price barrier, or being able to only flower out one photo clone from the local dispensary in their space, something like this offers a really badass option. you can do 3 sativa's [cali snow?], 3 hybrids [gsc?] and 3 med strains [northern express?], and get a pretty well rounded supply 4 times a year for the casual smoker. i will be setting multiple friends up with a similar setup in the coming month or two.

peace out ya'll, and blessup! will be updating again soon!!!

QUICK PEEK IN THE TENT — WEEK 7 [day 49]

YO! — wanted to throw up a quick update on the official 7 week anniversary of these gals birth. We've been through so much together, I can't believe its only been 49 days since you beautiful girls poked your heads though the soil vagina of life, and joined us in this world.

MY BABIES!!! :bighug:

aaaanyway, enough with the mushy shit.

Screen Shot 2016-01-12 at 12.00.21 AM.png Screen Shot 2016-01-11 at 11.59.47 PM.png Screen Shot 2016-01-11 at 11.59.33 PM.png

in order, from left to right, we've got BETA, ¢ENT, & ALPHA. overall, still on the same track. ALPHA is my bottom bitch, ¢ENT killing it for a 1-gallon, and BETA is still on that rickjames shit.

speaking of beta's superfreak action, check out this wild #polyploid bud. there is slight #ployploid tendencies on a lot of the buds, but this one seems the most full on. excited to see what this single bud yields, but also dreading the trim job.

Screen Shot 2016-01-12 at 12.00.12 AM.png Screen Shot 2016-01-12 at 12.00.04 AM.png

either way, pretty freaking cool to watch grow. will keep up with documentation of this specific bud.

thats where we're at for week 7 — based on where we're at, this gal is looking like a 11-12+ weeker. def has that sativa feels, and flower time is backin' that up. can't WAIT for the smoke test.

next post is mid-week 7 t-5 beauty shots. lots of color is starting to show up, will prob boost the N on these gals, as they're going to go a lot longer than I had initially planned.

BLESSUP ALL!
