haha, I get the same story up here. In fairness, my wife suffers more pain and sleeplessness than I do, after her TBI in 2000.

Yeah same here. On top of RP and Ushers Syndrome she has two bulging discs in her neck from our wreck. And a few other nasty pain inducing things that she won't take care of... Like 3 wisdom teeth pushing in all at once. Her bad vision and hearing keeps her like a hermit. Her disability didn't start til she was 18 so she doesn't deal well. And who's the only one around? Me... Like you... So we are everything huh bud? Provider & punching bag... What always gets me is I try my hardest to understand. To put myself in her shoes but its the "you'll never understand..." ok well can you at least be grateful I am along for your battle? Ah you know what its like dude. Its like we aren't allowed to feel pain or be down. Well I have plenty of pain lol l was almost killed in that wreck. But I gotta be the rock! Lol story of my life hahaha

man, your situation is far more taxing than mine. Sharon suffers balance issues, sleep issues, and lots of pain, but very slight cognitive difficulties, at 72 she is hooked in and hooked on, I never feel unappreciated
