Real Science vs Bro Science: Ohhh some of you are NOT going to like this!

From her points, I would imagine yield could be more with a 24/0 cycle (not taking into account gm v power usage etc) but quality would be down in regards to terp, flavanoids profile etc.
Same argument could be had about organic soil vs salts. Cut out the microbe/plant symbiosis, potentially lose some metabolic profile.

Ding ding ding!
I had hundreds of people tell me this the year I grew 40ac of Israeli Ogden melons organically. Local stores got into a bidding war over them............I sold to both and let my Uncle have a fruit stand by the farm. I made more from that 40ac than raising cattle, just under 500 cow n calf pairs. I pulled that one off, but was too chicken to try it again. I don't see how farmers do it year in and out. It's stressful for an OCD person! LOL!

I would agree with a properly done soil is extremely beneficial and most important single item. It’s taken me 4 yrs to get to this years mix. I just harvested three autos Bobby’s Widow and Purple Rolex v2 and not one showed any significant leaf fade or signs of nutrient def. I did hit them 3x with real light tea waterings. I even asked someone else to look at the flowers and agreed they were done. I screwed up and left my sdcard out And trying to recover some photos to show. I will post more info in my two journals.
I’ve seen first hand the benefits of teas too so I’m going done the road with my Bro’s.

It's hard to break habits that work, just put that compost on top like nature does and see how much better it can be.

Now saying that, to get the most from just top dressing compost and no longer using teas, the compost must be properly finished, not the crap that 99.9 is offered on the market.

Hell yea, that's epic. I bet they tasted so good, unlike the crap we get from the supermarket. The bugs won't even eat them.
Slowly getting through the clip you posted re nutrition management and mite control, so much specific info being dropped.

Basically Linda-Chalker-Scott disputes the myth that compost tea has any scientifically proven benefits. She says that its pseudoscience and anecdotal evidence and that doesn't hold ground in academics. I have been a solid believer in compost teas and have always followed Dr. Elaine Ingham and the soil food web, but Linda makes very valid points and is very compelling. She also has a large alphabet before her name, so She knows what she says.

It may be true in the past that cannabis grown in true living organic soil had a better cannabinoid and terpene profile. Since I have been adding Bio-stimulants in my hydro grows "almost 4 years now" I would stack my profiles against anyone. I have not had terps tested because it is expensive. Maybe from this grow I will send one out?

Here is a strength test.

She also stated that the extracts are good the teas she is references are the ones they say can be diluted which I think is silly personally bc if it were compost you would use much more also alot of teas if like she said you put under a scope you will see not much going on also if you buy a simple npk test kit you can self test it to see in sure there are a few that do work but again 90% or around there are hype and arnt as benifical as many other much cheaper options that extract she talked about they use in Texas to recondition the soil

I don't think she actually disputes compost tea, I think she just makes the case for just using the compost is far better and is less labor intensive and the case for possibly growing the wrong bacteria when brewing.
I got a benefit from using compost tea on my coastal fields, but I examined my tea under a microscope and put the brewed compost on my garden. My compost was also inoculated with Medina products
So he's saying you can't ID bad bacteria. I call bullshit!
