New Grower Re-Noob'd Old Dude with a lot to learn.

Welcome bro, from another 'old dude' to another!

I was away from the cannabis scene for 27 years, but got tired of all the pharmaceuticals for severe chronic pain. Nothing compares to how well herb works for chronic pain and sleep issues.

Just started growing meself 6 months ago. Photos outdoors and Autos indoors. Just the growing aspect is highly addictive.

You can't beat the Dragon strains for pain/sleep meds. You may also want to check out the Highrise gear, the D99 and the GHD Autos are also some very nice Auto Med strains. It's awesome to be able to 'talk' to the breeders of these strains here at AFN.

I am fortunate enough to live in a state (Washington), where I am a legal MMJ patient and grower/caregiver. It's pretty trippy being able to grow 45 plants legally, and have 3 lbs. of dried bud at any given time.

Sending growing Karma your way bro!

:peace:

Dang! i wanna come too! Not too sure about the left coast though. LOL! No Dis intended ;o)Washington IS gorgeous. I loved Northern Cal, but can't take "controlling" govt. I like my guns and my grass. Just need a place to have both equally with no hassle. That's why Maine, but I don't exactly like snow...just want what I want...the Sticks...like you. :oD (and guns and grass.....)

Dragon strains, eh? I've got a post in the New Growers here:

Tell me what you think and ...where can I find those Dragon strains?

g"day mate!:tiphat: i will give you the breakdown on the medical cannabis rule's in maine....if you are a grower/patient, and only grow for yourself, you can have six flowering plant's. if you want to bee a caregiver, you can have five patient's, plus yourself. for 36 flowering plant's, and to cover all the biomass from your grow, they allow 8lb,s of incidental plant matter stem's, leave's drying bud, curing bud. i have had a bout with cancer, that's why i am a state leaal med user! i lived in california in1969 to 1971 and i liked it, but not as much as new england:D: shit! i colo or cali they have city's
larger than the whole population of maine!:smokebuds:i live a little bit south of limestone, and it is flat up in the "county" but it is a pristene wooded enviroment. and hunting and fishing is superb! we do have four distinct season's that i like. i have to admit the older i get the less i like snow. but when i here about flood's tornado's,mudslide's, earthquake's, forest fire's, and 125 deg, temp's, maine is the best place to be!!:woohoo:

There isn't a lot of money to be made in pot here. There also won't be a lot of patients up
your way. Of course, the state doesn't allow a lot of patients. We are a poor state, and that
is one of the poorest areas. You won't be getting big city prices for your product.

I'd suggest coming here and checking the area out before you buy.

Sorry to be so negative, but we see quite a few transplants leave. My former
next door neighbors, the wife was from Maine, thrilled to be back. The husband
was from California, not thrilled, and the end result was a bitter divorce.

If you come, I'll buy you a beer at J's Oyster bar.

There are inexpensive areas in the southern end of the state. You might want to look
at some properties down here. There's also a lot of farmland near the coast,
get a little ways from a city, and the prices get reasonable.
