amen and pass the ketchup! What was I barking about earlier mate, pop culture strains du jour,...vanquishing the older ones that are in no way "inferior" to these endless spin-off crosses-
Seriously, I was talking to another member the other day about NL, (a lock-in for next year), which I have not grown

It really frustrates me that some of the older strains such as Northern lights, G13, White Widow etc get overlooked and I just don't know why?

It seems that 90% of the growers these days want the latest and greatest strains just based purely on a name or because a celebrity is backing it

Their is only so many strain in the world. Take GSC (Girl Scout Cookies) if you have been growing for 20+ years and have grown Durban poison then I think you'll agree it's hard to tell the difference. Imo just renamed for a new generation

ok guys so i started her 2 week or so flush tonight as it looks like she will be a faster finishing genotype
buds are swelling and densing up, nice hard dense buds so far smelling mainly of oil/petrol with a hint of some sweet berries

so RD 1 is building up her flowers and the frost is heavier on this one already than [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] smells of Oil/Petrol

i think this is the cut i will be letting go and opting with RD1(Diesel Genotype).
this geno is more cherry afghan leaning as you can see in the buds and has a more controllable growth than the other but RD1 has it beat in trichomes

When we do a grow with a new strain we have not grown before the most exciting part is definitely "pheno" selection

What's more special about pheno 1 compared to pheno 2 brother?

They both look like fire but their must be something catching your attention about pheno 1

With that said they both look spot on to me buddy

haha shit yeah phenotype
i like diesel shaped buds, they are also more frosty then the Afghani pheno(#2) and the terpenes are more "loud" and in your face. the #2 pheno you had to rub a little to encourage the terps but cured great!
