Indoor R Wayne's Can't Stop Wont Stop Grow

Frosty Strawbba the Hutt day 67
  • I bought Strawbba the Hutt back when Mephisto first released it and I’ve finally got a chance to grow it. It may become the frostiest auto I’ve grown yet. She seems to keep adding on the frost, literally like each cola keeps getting snowed on. Not very many ambers yet, so I’ll let her ride for another week. It’s been quite humid here and even with my dehumidifier running the tent is staying around 55% rh and gone up to 60% today. Too high for my preference, but I’ve got decent air flow. Rains should go away soon…I hope

Day 68 for EB, Day 61 for Voodoo
  • Weekly update: Blackberry is drying and looking...meh. I planted cover crop in this pot because its BAS light and I want to use it in the EB mini I will be purchasing for my next run.

    Earthbox:
Strawbba the Hutt is cruising, just waiting for more ambers. ZaMango is massive, wish I had more room, the top colas are suffering from too much light. But she smells amazing and has overtaken not only the space in the tent but the scent. Just as she was described, mango plus all the other fruits. Swear i would wear a cologne made of these terps. I keep refilling the rez every 3 days, though it only lasted 2.5 days this time. I also added a little bit of Agsil15H silica to the rez water, see if they have any ill effects.

    Voodoo:
She is also cruising and stacking, shes definitely going to finish before the ZaMango even though shes a week behind. I might even look to cut her around the same time as Stawbba the Hutt, in a week or two. We like minimal ambers on our sativa strains. I can smell that peppery/fruity profile when I stem rub.

Looking forward to all 3 of the cultivars I have left in the tent.

    Voodoo Trichomes
  • I'm at the point of checking the trichomes daily on Strawbba the Hutt and decided to check Voodoo as well. To my surprise it is mostly rocking milky trichs. @Jean-O question for you. I saw that Voodoo usually runs between 70-80 days, mine is at 62 days. I got her because she is sativa dominate, we like day time smoke. Looking at all these milky trichomes, would you chop now or let it ride for a bit longer?

    Earthbox Day 72, Voodoo 65
  • Earthbox:
Not much to update, still refilling the rez every 3 days. It goes through water in 2 and a half days, but I always try to give it 12 hours after I see it dry. Will probably harvest Strawbba the Hutt Friday. We have another storm coming through this weekend and the humidity will be in the 90s again.

    Voodoo:
Ah man, I am really loving this plant so far. She is built very beautifully. The buds look wonderful. I went with my gut and decided to chop her today. I see nothing but cloudy trichomes everywhere I look. We wanted this to be more of a daytime smoke, so we shall see how she smokes. I will post again with the harvest pics.

    Voodoo Harvest Day 65
  • Voodoo Harvest: Day 65
I harvested Jean-O's Voodoo yesterday. The pics from above are right before harvest.
Man this was a nice harvest. Good density throughout the entire plant. It didnt have much trim or larf. Very sticky and oily. My wife got me some new trimmers (dont like them much), but I was having to leave a pair in alcohol and switch them quite a few times :smoking: The smell on this one was very interesting, its not really loud like ZaMango, but very nice. I would describe it as light fruit scent mixed with a turpentine peppery musk with a hint of lemons on the back side. My wife described is as sweet grass. It smells wonderful and Im excited to smoke it.

Blackberry Update: This cultivar gave me 13 grams of OK bud...13 grams off a 5 gal :cuss: Grown with the same conditions as the rest. It is very airy and crunchy, even at 62% humidity. She is frosty but looks and feels like shit. Will update with smell and smoke report later. Might just press this into rosin. Not satisfied with Fast Buds so far.

All Pictures are of Voodoo...didnt want to add any of blackberry

If any of yall didnt hear, Twisted Tree Autos place caught fire and he lost everything. Here is the link to the go fund me: https://gofund.me/bc0ff9fd He is also looking to get back some of his genetics so he can start fresh. I will probably be sending whats left of my Jimmy Jacks beans if he wants them. Quality genetics at solid prices, just like Jean-O.
    Help if you can :pass:

Strawbba the Hutt harvest day 75
  • Been pretty busy, I harvested Strawbba the Hutt on Friday and am finally getting to update. She was on day 75 and dang…might be my best plant yet :smoking: Pictures don’t do her justice.
I cut her down earlier than I wanted, but we are going away for a few days and there’s another storm that came through. Humidity is around 90% again. I don’t trust my mother in law to dump the dehumidifier every morning and evening. Didn’t want to lose anything to bud rot. I would have liked to have given her another week.
But with that being said this plant was amazing. Crazy frosty and lots of really nice dense buds. Very oily and resinous, saved some fresh frozen for a wash. Sticky as hell and stinky as hell. It has this piney funk, like a funkier pinesol smell with a sweetness and just a hint of strawberries on the back end. I’m really excited for this one and will add more pictures when we get back home.

    ZaMango Day 85
  • Just wanted to update with some pictures of ZaMango. Man the top colas are so crispy from light stress. In 3 grows Ive only been able to run my MH FC-e3000 at 75% at the highest (2ft from canopy) and have dropped it back down to 60% this grow. Dont think the plants like the added UV/IR during the entire grow. Seriously thinking about buying an HLG to replace this one. Just cant swing the money for it yet.
Ive also popped 4 more seeds for another outdoor run and will be starting another journal for that. I let my wife pick the seeds this time. They have all germinated and popped out the seedling soil and are chilling at the bottom of the tent rn.

    ZaMango is getting heavy
  • Day 87 and the ZaMango is starting to topple over...buds weigh too much :smoking:

Going to do a partial harvest tonight and give the lowers another week to mature.

    First Harvest ZaMango Day 88
  • Oh man, ZaMango, what a plant. I partially harvested her yesterday at day 88.
First, this plant grew like crazy, because of that required more food than I thought. Strawbba the hutt had plenty of food, but it wasnt enough for this beast. Next time I will make sure to add more bloom amendments in larger proportions. She has some crispy leaves, but overall Im very pleased with her. Covered in triches and sticky as hell, I changed my gloves every hour or so.

This is the strongest smelling cultivar I have grow so far. Like all your neighbors know your growing kinda strong. The smell is quite pleasant. A very sweet strawberry/mango bubblegum (big league chew) FUNK that sticks in your nose for hours. Its really hard to discern the fruit flavors, other than its sweet. But I smell strawberry, mango, raspberry, coconut, grape and then the bubblegum really comes through. My wife loves the smell but was complaining that it was too strong, we had to leave the window cracked all night.

So I spent about 5 hours trimming yesterday and filled a total of 6 brown bags with good buds and larf/trim. 3 bags of each. I probably could have had 4 bags of good bud but started getting lazy after hour 4. Strawbba the Hutt filled 1 and a half bags and gave me 27 g of good buds, still have to weigh the trim. It feels like Ive barely trimmed this plant. Very curious if Ill get more than a 1/2 pound and beat my own record. I am also very excited to smoke on this one. Will report back after drying and the final trim. To the pics:
