quick question about pollen, can a stres be carried over as a gene for pollen

ok so im growing 1 purple cheese plant in between my last grow n my next grow for some pollen that im going to store for my next grow. My question is, im rebuilding my grow room so the purple cheese plant is not on a super strict light schedule, so if it does get stressed with the pollen inside produce hermie seeds on my next run

If the gene is there then yes it will carry over ,. the gene is the gene is the gene .......stress testing is a major factor to breeding, meeening if you stress it and it does't turn hermaphidite then your good, if it dose then you don't want to even carry out those genetic's..

thanks alot for the info, i have already started spraying with CS and almost a week in. should i scrap the plant and start over or just let it ride ? thanks guys

If it's an auto you can't run long stress tests and then still have time to make seed. So I say go for it. If it is a photo you can stress a clone or twenty. If It did well in the past then there's your test by another way. Don't forget that if opportunity gives you a chance to make seed you can collect the seeds-- then stress some clones if you still have some to see if you trust the seeds.
