Question about storing nutrients

The soil you are using is considered to have a lot of nutrients already in it so you may not have to add very much to it at all. The every two week bump might be a good plan. Hence, just curious where you picked up the feed every two weeks advice.

I don't remember exactly, but from what I recall, it was from a forum discussing nutrient schedules when using nutrient rich soil, such as FFOF. I believe that forum also said it's not recommended to feed nutrients for a few weeks when using nutrient rich soil since the soil should be enough to sustain a plant for a certain time frame. Is this information accurate?

Yes, that actually sounds quite accurate for that particular soil.

I was mixing up 5 gallons worth of nutrients into about a liter of water, then pouring a little into a jar and adding water each day to feed my coir.

one time I mixed up a lot so it lasted over a week and towards the end I started getting a bunch of stuff floating in it, like long strands.

I still used it a couple times with no problem but threw the rest out just in case.
