Should I be mixing a batch of fresh nutrients every time I feed my plants or can I mix one big batch and store it for whenever it's time to feed them?

i mix fresh every day i am growing in coco so do enough for 2 feeds a day. I think you can mix and store but you need it agitated so it dont get chance to settle and bond together as certain compounds will stick to each other so i am told.

I am running solo cups at the minute and make up 5L a time and it lasts a few days.
I ph once I transfer it to a smaller 1.5L bottle.

I've read it's ideal to feed your plants nutrients roughly every two weeks and use regular water in between feeding. Maybe this differs based on medium / nutes?

I'm only growing one outdoor plant right now in 5 gallon fabric pot which consist of 70% FFOF / 30% Perlite with CalMag / GH trio as my nutes. I've learnt a half gallon is more than enough to saturate the soil all the way through with little runoff.

That's reassuring. I have some nutes I mixed up in a one gallon jug and I only needed to use half. It's been sitting in a dark room for a few days and I wasn't sure if it would go bad. I'll feed the rest to my plant in about a week.

Mmm, not sure about leaving it that long m8. I am sure I read on the manufacturer's website that 7 days was about the longest to leave it. Let me double check

If you're in soil a feed/water/water/ feed/water/water schedule usually works pretty well. If you follow that you would be feeding infrequently enough to mix a fresh batch each time. I would think once every two weeks might not be frequent enough. What website did you pick that up on? (genuine question, I don't know how to word it to not sound accusatory or sarcastic.)

The soil you are using is considered to have a lot of nutrients already in it so you may not have to add very much to it at all. The every two week bump might be a good plan. Hence, just curious where you picked up the feed every two weeks advice.

With soil you want a wet/dry cycle so you may not need to water everyday either. Once the plant gets nice and large it can suck down quite a bit of water. Do you have a way to measure pH and ppm?

My current grow is in soil and I'm going feed/water/feed/water. It all depends on the soil, plants, nute line. Good luck!

It hasn't been agitated either. It's been stagnant in a jug. Maybe I should fix up a new batch when it's time to feed just to be safe.
Bro you will be ok just give it a good stir and check your ph sometimes i make up to 5 days worth at a time and ive never had any problems with it
