Hey folks, I’m growing a couple Speed+ Auto ladies from Sweet seeds. FFOF soil and nutes under a 600w LED in my 2x2 tent. This is supposed to be an extremely quick strain. Breeder claims a harvest from seed inside of 50 days! Or somewhere around 7 weeks.

Now, my girl is 46 days old and while she’s beautiful and extremely healthy, she barely even has any pistils/white hairs. The few it does have are scrawny. So this Speed Auto is not so speedy.

Does anyone else have experience with this strain?? Hoping it’s not uncommon. Regardless, I’m happy bc it’s a beautiful plant. :smoking:

Also, she hasn’t gotten much stress other than some LST so I don’t think that would be why she’s slow. Ph has always been in check and never saw any deficiencies.

Thanks everyone :smoking:

Been a while since I grew the sweet seeds speed series but don't recall it being any quicker than other sweet seeds autos but was budding well at that age...running some ss red poison now that I cut at 65. Your plant looks more like a photo.

I was afraid of that. But I guess I’ll just flip my lights and see what she does!

That's what I'd do ….cause that's what I do. All you can do now is deploy the best weed growing tool available....patience.

Steady as she goes. Every seed is different and it would appear that you have a slower pheno also is your light 600watts at the wall or is that the MFG. claim. More light will speed a plant up to a point. If the plant is not getting at least 28 DLI it is not enough light. The other factor that can slow growth is temperature >68°F at night and ~ 78°F day time is desired. if your temps have been lower than this at anytime it can slow the plant.

Yeah my light is not a true 600w, my guess would be 200-300 from the wall. But I have other autos doing their thing nicely under it. Also my temps have been within range.
Thanks so much for the tips! Just gonna have to wait her out

I upgraded both my 600w leds….125w/108w at wall respectively. They were my first upgrade from hps and soon upgraded again to cobs and qb at 280w total….
The difference in 230w and the 280w was quite significant....
The 600w led will do ok but actually gives ya an upgrade disease.
