My initial plan was to grow 3 plants in 5 gal pots. I tried to germinate 3 seeds (Mephisto Cosmic Queen), but one didn't pop so I did two more and they both popped so I ended up with 4 seedlings (2 are a few days behind the other 2). So I threw the smallest one in a 2 gallon plastic pot bc that's all I had laying around.

That one in the plastic pot that started out smallest is actually growing faster than some of the others. So my question is should I get a fourth 5 gal fabric pot and repot her? Is the 2 gal pot eventually going to cause roots to bind? Medium is fox farms ocean forest w/ perlite. Right around the turn of week 4/5.

Thanks!

i would leave her in that pot you can grow decent sized plants in small pots it just means you will need to water her more i grew her in a 2ltr bottle20200102_125954.jpg

my first thoughts say leave it if it was smaller / younger id say give it a go but like tom says pot size isnt everything

Thanks! So far I've actually had to water her less than the fabric pots because the plastic doesn't dry the soil as much as the fabric.

I wasn't sure about squeezing four 5-gal pots in the 2x4 tent but next run I will. How am I looking otherwise? First timer and whatnot.

I do have one other question on feeding. I know most advice says wait until week 4 or 5 to feed when growing in FFOF. is that week 4/5 for the plants or 4-5 weeks after they are planted in the FFOF? I started them in solo cups with Light Warrior and transplanted at end of week 2 into FFOF (waited a little longer than i should have). So the plants are weeks 4-5 but theyve only been in the FFOF for 2-3. Will be feeding with FF trio.
