Indoor Quest for 1 Pound + with Autoflower and Soilponics!

Tiny tails on both seeds already! Put them into a paper towel anyway and I'll check the tomorrow. I like a 1/2 or so tap root on them when I plant them.

I've got this picture in my mind of sticking a shovel in some super-aerated soil and having bubbles come out. I did just have a couple of tokes.

LOL so did !. Smoked a bowl of NW's Sour Dragon. Kickass weed!

I'm not sure bubbles ( Not Bubbles.... :face: ) will get to the top with this setup as I'm bottom watering. and I don't think this has been tested with 15 gallons of soil...lol! But yea, I hear ya. Picture her growing on a swamp and the mud's bubbling around the base of an 8ft plant...........

And my babies have sprouted! And so it begins!

Look at that damn perv Walter White hanging out with them little girls................

I don't usually name my plants but I'm going to with these ladies ( hopefully ladoes...lol _) Yolanda and Belle!

arrrrh, I reckon one of them should have been named Sheila, I mean Sheila's set their goals high, because that is what Sheila's do......and say.............is it really Walter Mitty in disguise............

Anyways, can't wait to see how this romance develops, good luck!

Pop,
this sounds really interesting. Went to that website you posted and it all does make sense.
Something Yoda said has me thinking. Regarding an o2 concentrator, can that be utilized in dwc? Would that replace an airstone or would you use that in addition to?
If it's super concentrated, i wonder if it could help negate a slightly higher than ideal res temp?
I'm seeing tubing from concentrator to a manifold then tubing to each res just like an air pump. Maybe overkill??
I have one here at the house leftover from when i cared for my mom. Never thought about it until now.
Any thoughts?

Hmmm never even though of an O2 concentrator. Might work! Or it might be too much, but it would sure be worth a try.. As to reducing pathogens in the res, I doubt it but what do I know...??? LOL! Now I've proven the reverse. with a Kratky bucket you use no airstones. You just leave an airspace at the top of the bucket. Saw a guy doing Kratky method on youtube in a greenhouse with temps over 95F!

Today I'm going to start chopping the Blue Dragon. once its done I'll bring in my setup and get it ready. As I'm going to break "rules" along the way, I will likely transplant at least once before I plant it in this setup, I want good root structure before I put it in this environment.from the looks of the young plants I'll do the first transplant in about 3 days. My reasoning is that it will be hard at first to get the right balance of wet, but not too wet at the surface and on the flipside, if I plant the young plant and water minimally, I figure the upper 1/3 or so will get very dry and then I'll have to flood it from the top to get it wet enough. I think getting started with a setup this large may be tricky, or maybe I'm just over thinking it....guess we'll see!
