Hey Pop! I like to grow trees and I like Camaros. I am a fan of the 67, more so than the 8 or 9, though the 69 is the best of the first gens on paper. I wanted a Stingray Corvette, prob a 73, when the bug hit. Reasonably bought a car I could afford to play with and build. The next coolest was the coolest, in my high school, way back when. A late 2nd gen Camaro. She's not the pretty one, and was never meant to be, but she always "puts out". I call her Agnes, All Go, No Show.
350 SBC Iron Block, forged bottom end, 7qt oilpan, Comp Cams 292 Magnum pushing hydraulic lifters, AFR heads with the rev kit and 1.5 roller rockers. Holly 750 double pumper sitting on top of an Edelbrock air gap intake. 4spd Muncie with road gears and a lpcked posi 10 bolt rear that'll spin the tires in 3rd with a 3.73 rear. Pypes 3 in exhaust. Best of the old and the new and all done right.
Not the 350/350/350 everyone else drives and calls a hotrod. That's a 350 sbc with a topend job making 350hp pushing a turbo 350 automatic. I see them all the time and eat em alive. I'd like to get a chassis under her in the spring so I could drop some of that power into a turn.
