Indoor Quest for 1 Pound + with Autoflower and Soilponics!

The one thing I have found with auto's and led's is if you keep pushing the veg food they until the really stop going up you will get monsters but be pre paired to put in the flower time as well. I've gone well over 100 days some times but it's well worth it. I take it you don't have a time limit?

no time limit set and this plant is a stand alone project, I have enough other plants to supply our needs. I'm guessing this will goo 100 days, but who knows? Could be more or less. The goal in the long run is to grow the most I can from one plant, consistently. I'm looking to grow 3/4 - 1 pound per plant per grow. I could do this without a doubt with photos, but I want to do it with autos, so this is partly a search for worthy strains

Mmmmmmm........ A succession of MonsterPops.......

Is there anything so far you would do differently/tweak for next time around?

Needless to say..... So far so brilliant!

I'd like to try more aggressive topping/fimming. plan to try that on an auto in a smaller pot just to test how well the plant can deal with it. I topped this one, but just once\ I pushed the limit with the SCROG net, its set at 6 1/2". I figure I'm already pretty close to the limit of what I can do with this as an organic setup. I considered doing a DWC but I just no longer want to deal with all the hardware involved. This is dead simple, which has become my theme for growing.

I may try some more complex soil mixes though in the future. Possibly test Eyes On Fire's recipe but I'm not sure I want to go to all that expense and work. But, knowing me, I WILL do it at some point!

And........She's still stretching! Going to tuck the tops again tomorrow. It won't be long till she hits the left wall and the back! I'm expecting 1/2 the net filled. If so, I'd say an honest harvest guess is likely to be closer to 200-250grams. BUT.........it ain't over till its over! Who knows, she may fool me! From what I've seen though, the canopy needs to fill the entire 4'x4' screen to hit the 1pound + mark but as I said, she's still stretching and who knows where she'll stop!

for mine, I used 2- twenty gallon round totes.I cut a 4.8 inch hole in the bottom of one, and put a 5" netpot in the hole. I then stuffed the net pot lighty with rockwool to act as a wick. I saw this done on another forum.
I then placed my airdome on top of the het pot, then filled the planter with soil. I topped the soil with clay pebbles ( any mulch would work ) to reduce evaporation.

In the second tote, the res, you place 2, three inch elbows in the bottom to support the planter tote and allow water to not be trapped.

Set the planter into the res and fill with your soil mix. I also drilled a 3/8" hole in the res, about 4" up from the floor. I fill the res until i see a dribble of water come out.

Here are pics of the parts:

wow that sound very different, i'm more about the read more about airdome and your method .
thanks for the info.

This plant is going to be HUGE! The tips have not only grown back towards the light, they are as tall as the plant was before bending it!! I think I'm going to tie her down again then drop the SCROG net on her. I think she's starting to look like a one pound plant! I'll get some pics up after my lady's doc appointment!

I think I'll take my light down and shorten the hanger also, te hanger thaty come with the 192x3 is WAY too long. I also bought a heavy duty rope ratchet as I noticed the one I have one it is fraying and the light is heavy! Going to put a safety chain on it too! I'd be REAL pissed if it fell and crushed my plant!

You're kick'n it Pop! Drop the pedal to the floor!

I stay in a constant state of excitement when I read this thread makes me dream of more space.
Peace.
