Lighting QB96 Elite V2 Engine

Very impressive bud development looks purely fire .
So 1.10 1 being easy how easy are the diy fixtures

I had to buy a couple trout leads, some 3” long M4 screws, some 18G solid thermostat wire, and 3 extension cables I used as wiring so I could make it modular (I can unplug them individually)

3 out of 10 difficulty.

I really mean it when I say if you have BASIC knowledge and a multi-meter to check stuff, you can 100% build this light

Got some info off HLG UK Europe for what would be most efficient for my setup. I'm running a 1.2 x 1.2 tent and was advised to run 4 x QB96 in parallel using an HLG-480-54 driver. Each engine would run around 111.3W (about 1/3 capacity). This should provide 2.46 umole/J and 1018 PPF. They didn't state height for PAR reading but none the less at 1/3 capacity that's one hell-of-a light!
Can't wait to get them ordered....

I have been running 2 qb96 elites in a 3x3 tent for a few weeks. If you want to look at PAR for these lights in different number combinations, heights, tent size and watts go to this

@ClydeWalters thanks for sharing the info, figure I'll do one more grow with the 400 mh/hps and then switch over. Unfortunately the Canadian Peso isn't worth to much these days, so the bang for buck isn't quite as good as it is with the USD, GBP, or EU. Still though it will def be an investement that pays for itself down the road. Cheers

My 96’s perform VERY well. Best light I’ve ever seen in my life so far. Hands down.

My plants need SOOOO much cal mag because of the light intensity it isn’t even funny...

I just got a Qb96 and plan to add another in a month or so. Can I run the 1 on a HLG-320H-C2800 or a HLG-320H-54 till I get the 2nd?

Edit: After doing some research I ordered the HLG-320H-54. You can run it single.
