Lighting QB96 Elite V2 Engine

There are a few folks on here that use those. I'm not sure if they're the V2 or not, though.

But as someone pointed out price has to come down this is my current grow with 2x 300 w marshydro white models at £55 each and the trichs well pics speak for themselves

Actually pretty curious about the par results of that qb96 but having difficulty finding anything. So you're saying on of those is equivalent to a 400w hps in say a 3x3 grow area? More interested in the heat reduction then anything else. If you could point me in the right direction of a par chart I would be greatly appreciative, cheers.

Search @or_gro and look for his QB96 no BS thread. I’m sure he’ll show up and throw down his nice links he likes to leave :)

These lights put out par in the 1000 range without even trying.

I’m not saying that one QB96 will put out 400W, what I’m saying is you’ll get results even BETTER than that ;) but each 96 can take about 320W if you add active cooling

The guy I mentioned above has mapped out the par readings for these lights. You literally couldn’t ask for better information

Hi

I have bought this lights too, i got 2x QB96 V2 elite with 2x HLG 185H-54a Driver

overall i amazed with this light, i just cant figure out at what hight do i have to. hang them, the drivers set to defolt wattage, dont know how much nut i think its on 18w each.

When they run at bottom current like ur talking about it’s actually 14Watts per board if your using 2 of them on an HLG-320H-54a

I have no idea what it would be turned all the way down on the driver u have.

I run my QB96’s at 161Watts each

They can handle 320Watts each of u can cool them actively

See there kits do you have to build them yourself as when I look it seems all you get is the parts

They DO sell pre-made fixtures on HLGs website. It’s called the HLG 360

Check it out if u don’t like to DIY stuff.

You can build these lights VERY easily for less than HALF what you’d pay per-assembled.

I don’t care that they look the way they do, it’s the quality that I’m getting from them.

This was a 7” tall Lowryder I cut down last night... it’s basically nothing but FAT ASS NUGS! I mean huuuuge fat ROCK SOLID Nugs off of a VERY old pool of genetics.

Lowryders don’t tend to yield this well when they only get as big as mine did

First post has been updated with links to ALL the information you guys could EVER want about these lights.

Please feel free to join us in the ongoing testing and discussion of these lights folks :)

I really mean it when I say these are EASILY the best flowering lights I’ve ever used. Period.

And before anyone asks, they put out 3500K spectrum so they WILL Work for Veg! Regardless what one might think. There is a HUGE blue spike in the spectrum that balances out with the extra reds and far reds. So your plants will not end up all stretchy like in other instances.
