Whats up guys, just wanted to show off my BEAUTIES! i don't see ANYONE else using these lights on AFN... im telling you guys Horticulture Lighting Group is absolutely WRECKING the game!

Max current 6000mAh WITH active cooling (one day) (about 315W)
but I'm currently running them at 160 Watts each with 2 lights total in the tent
running on ONE HLG-320H-54a dimmable driver

before i was using this crazy LED/HPS arched light structure setup thing i had going on... DROWNED my plants in light and ended up with bonsai bushes haha, so about a week into flower my QB96's came in the mail! so i got em up and running and NOW im about 2 weeks from harvest and i've never seen plants just PAINT themselves with frost like i did when i added these lights! i am getting PHENOMENAL results AS WELL AS around an even 1000PAR across my canopy! so the plants are KILLING IT for what they are (Lowryder [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG])

you guys have got to check them out, best grow lights in the world right now efficiancy/spectrum wise!
theoretically these are the BEST flowering lights in the Quantum Board family, which happens to be the best family of lights i'd say period. COBs are great... but the results i see across the board with QB's are even better. 2+ grams per watt easy.

I'm just curious but why has the Quantum Boards not really caught on over here on AFN? or at least it seems like it hasnt :/ anyways im a tech geek DIY addict, so im pretty happy to be here guys :)

UPDATE: here’s the SOLID information threads on these lights.

Guys get ahead of the game while their still affordable!

Plz ignore the terrible Cal Mag deficiency :/ using white light like this in Soil actually requires more Calcium than under Blurple or HPS

Hi

I have bought this lights too, i got 2x QB96 V2 elite with 2x HLG 185H-54a Driver

overall i amazed with this light, i just cant figure out at what hight do i have to. hang them, the drivers set to defolt wattage, dont know how much nut i think its on 18w each.

I love the idea of LED's and these boards look incredible just wish their price would come down to the same area as a 400/600w hid setup would cost. LED's are so damn cheap to manufacture and seems to be replacing all forms of lighting so hopefully the grow light price will fall significantly in the next few years.

Dude for $150 you can get a QB96 and a driver for it! That IS cheap!! There’s NO reason to buy anything else. One QB96 can replace 400W of any. Other light. No joke.

It cost me $275 bucks to set up 2 of them.

SIIOOOOO worth it

I'd have to see a side by side of one of those qb96 and a 400 watt hid. From the par charts I've seen it would take 4 of those to get the same intensity par coverage as a 400w hps. More to it then just par output?

Actually pretty curious about the par results of that qb96 but having difficulty finding anything. So you're saying on of those is equivalent to a 400w hps in say a 3x3 grow area? More interested in the heat reduction then anything else. If you could point me in the right direction of a par chart I would be greatly appreciative, cheers.

UNBELIEVABLE trich production.

These lights are SO BRIGHT. I can’t even look at then
