Nervous newbie
Hi everyone!
First time grower and forum-poster, long time reader. I just started a seed, but one of the things I've been having a hard time figuring out is the distance between my light (QB 288 Rspec) and my plant (Greenhouse Super Lemon Haze). I'm running a small tent (40x40x120cm) and an AutoPot coco-run to get my feet wet, the big one with a fabric pot folded down in about half, 10L of coco. My idea was that I could, by using a lux meter, not have to move my light up and down constantly but leave it at the top and use the dimmer to get the proper amount of lighting. Together with LST as needed of course.
Am I completely wrong and should just try to dial the heights, and in that case which ones? Or is there some validity in keeping it as far up as I can and monitoring + varying the intensity based on calculated PPFD? I'll still keep an eye on her until it's all dialed in of course, but this would personally be much less of a PITA.
And last but not least, thanks to all of you for making this forum so great! I would not be even a sliver as wise as I was going into this without your existence.
