New Grower Purple Kush auto basement tent grow and first auto grow

End of week 8.Until yesterday I thought I was overwatering , But I now believe the opposite is true. The Purple Kush plants have mostly had a droopy look to them. I started giving them more water and they perked up.

Looking great buddy  very green everywhere, even though they are being kind of slow
Have they started shooting out any pistils yet? Those bushes look ready to explode when they stretch. Just curious how powerful your lights are?

Very detailed observation @DMHeights. No pistols And your spot on with the light question . The lights were very inexpensive and I had been using them only as starter lights in the past. I have bigger lights and I also think that I should put these plants under them. At the end of the week ( Valetine's Day ) they will be moved under the 1000 W HPS lights that are in a larger room. I am going back on my word because I have previously said that I would keep these plants in the tent the whole way, but ya I think that the lights are holding this grow back. Thanks 4 the view :d5:

Fan-Effing-Tastic. Every plant is in good health, and you being a new grower and all, makes it doubly Fan-Effing-Tastic.

Thanks @AutoWonders I have grown a few photoperiod grows and get this my last auto try was with regular seeds not feminized and out of 7 plants all were males. So the kind positive words are calming to hear and of course all help is appreciated .

Hopefully the new light gets them going

You have been top dressing with amendments every week eh? Maybe they are overfed and it's delaying flower, something else to think about...

I had a plant that started eating all its fan leaves sooner than I had expected, so the next fertigation I loaded it with veg nutes (high N) instead of bloom like I was planning... while it did slow down the yellowing, it almost completely stopped the flowering process, it barely sent out any more pistils and didnt really bulk up what little calyxes it had.
Whole plant went straight in the garbage:doh: it dragged the flowering on so long it would have gone into winter, wasn't even worth trying to make into butter.
Happy growing buddy :goodluck:

End of week 9 a little SNAFU is occurring. The room with the better lights is being used by some ladies that are taking their sweet time finishing. I have been grabbing their branches and gently stretching their bushy branches to help light get to more areas. I also know that their bushy stature is the lights because the one plant I gave a buddy stretched out nice in one week by sitting the plant in his sunny window. So hope they will hold on until it is their turn.

End of week 11 and end of the first week under the 1000w HPS light. They have responded to their new environment well. stretching out and finally showing hairs at the nodes. I have to water at least once a day or they droop. I checked them last night after missing a day of watering and they looked bad. I watered and then they perked back up.

Almost week 12 getting impatient with them. I see other grows much further (in flower) at this point in time. I went to emergency measures by putting them into a 12-12 light schedule today. I will give them 2 weeks. This auto grow is starting to remind me of my last try that did not go well. @DMHeights I think you could see the problem good eye. :toke:
