Indoor Purple Indica - 900W VIPARSPECTRA

There's some pics I just took for you guys

One on the left is 60cm/24 inches
One on the right is 77cm/30 inches

Give or take. They're both the same purple indica strain, thankfully I supercropped the top of the 30 inch plant otherwise it would have been at least 35-36 inches in height.

Obviously it's very difficult to tell, but how much am I expected to harvest off these 2 babies? My mate said at least a pound... But I'm skeptical. Only asking because this is the first time doing this and I don't really have an idea as to how much I should expect.

Plants are look great dude! I am just about to start my second grow. On my first grow my RQS (Really good seeds) Blumatic had a fan fall on it and was like yea what ever I'll be fine don't worry lol and my RQS amnesia snapped in week three and I just bandaged it, it was seriously stunted but come harvest still have me a nice amount of bud and got me stoned haha.

Don't stress is what I will say, I was exactly the same on first grow but it's all a learning curb and your very soon have some lovely bud to enjoy [emoji1280]

Ps how are you finding the light k just got the exact same one as was on a budget, yours are first pics I have seen with the light and so far seem great. Tho I am not going to use any other light than this one even on seedlings as well I no longer have my CFL or HPS lights and hood.

If it's your grow, then yea talking to you lol, I gone, for 5 my previous grow was 600w HPS and grew 4, this light is about on par so though fuck it will do one more incase of any misshaps haha.

If you're talking about the VIPARSPECTRA, so far it's going great. I have the shorter 16" by 16" 900W model but have ordered the 13" by I think 23" 900W model, reason being is so light is evenly shared between the babies.

Thanks for all the comments guys, I'm proud to have you all under my wing as I grow these two beautiful girls. All results including curing and end results will be posted aswell

If anyone has some tips and tricks and some info to read on the perfect trim, cure and storage please keep me posted!

Regards to curing I messed up first time and over dried, you want the bud crispy on the outside and soft on the in.. and I'd you can do it in tent with a little airflow, you can get dry nets which are really handy. You still want some air to get into your buds to help the natural breakdown of sugars and chlorophyll to continue and once as I say buds are crisp out pop into jar and you open every so often go give air and continue to get rid of the chlorophyll, if you have chlorophyll left in bud come smoke time your bud won't taste great, may smell great but taste not so much.

Harvest the plant into V shaped stems
Trim all stems from fan leaves and trim all of the sugar leafs keeping them in separate containers as they can be useful for making oils.

Once it's trimmed hang on cost hangers and store in a cool dry place with a dehumidifier pack and a fan for air circulation for 3-6 days, then trim all buds off the stems. Check photo for reference to dehumidifier pack.

Fill up the jars just over the half way mark and burp twice daily for a week then with a humidity pack (I think he said 62%) let sit for a few months if I want best results.

Yes can take a little longer if you leave on stems but that's personal preference and can try one way this time and take off stems another time see what works best for you. Yea keeping good humidity is key also as don't want bud rot and waste or that time growing then get mouldy buds. You can buy these little packs that maintain humidity and pop in with bud into a jar and burp that way, bud will definitely taste better towards the end but even a few weeks of curing will do the job. My recommendation (If you can) begin another grow as your harvesting that way your have some bud and then on second grow can take more time with the cure and burping of bud and in future you can keep your cycle going and always have lots of bud to smoke, vape etc.

Yes you can make oils from sugar leaves and fan leaves or you can make hash, or you can place in a container and freeze (Not for too long) just enough time for the crystals to fall off then you get a sheet with tiny holes (Like with grinders that filter the crystals) and gently rub other and get loads keiff (Think that's how you spell it) and can be simply compacted in a bag of some sort and placed in sock walk around heat will harden it and it's like hash or keep it in powder form and smoke, eat, mix into drinks and sonon., many uses for the remains of plants.

I will suggest you burp in a glass jar as your loose THC to plastic! Prob not much but every little helps lol.
